Future House | Lucas & Steve Featuring Bethany – Blinded (Original Mix)

Music Monday just got groovier. Spinnin’ Records (say whaaaat?) just added another funktastic feature to their catalog with Lucas & Steve’s ‘Blinded.’ Bethany’s seductive voice was clearly made for this track and this drop has me mean muggin’ and two-steppin’ uncontrollably – it’s grimy as f*ck. ‘Blinded’ is close to racking in over a 100,000 plays and every time I click refresh the numbers keep rising. DJs, cop this one for your toolkit’s if you want to keep the dance floor lit (take a look through the comments for yourself to see some of the hottest names tossing their support).

Indie, RnB | Usher – Yeah (Pat Lok Remix)

Posted by on December 8, 2014

So I’ve had a lot of coffee this morning, but I just realized I’ve played this track 13 times already today. Honestly though, Pat Lok has brought the fire once again. What else is new. This prolific Vancouver producer has been gaining serious momentum in 2014 with some huge tracks including remixes for Alunageorge and Olympic Ayres. And with this remix of a club classic, we expect it to have some serious success. This is the definition of catchy, don’t sleep on Pat Lok!

DO SOMETHING

Deep House | Galantis – Runaway [U&I] (DIMES Remix)

You see, as bloggers, we receive submission after submission (and we DO read them all!) and once in a while we get a track that just makes us freeze in our seats. Meet DIMES. You don’t know him. This is his first release… I mean he’s barely got 20 followers on Soundcloud. Nonetheless, he’s got a level of confidence that’s evident in the quality of this track he pushed my way a few days ago. I give DIMES a 10/10. Hailing from sunny-side Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, DIMES takes us back to summer time with this tropical-inspired deep house fix. DIMES just made my ‘2015 To-Watch” list and after you get a taste of this, he’s guaranteed to make yours too. Enjoy this free download, and be on the lookout.

Hailing from the German north shores of Hamburg, Felix Jaehn brings us the pleasant ‘I Do.’ Taking technical aspects of deep house and disco funk, the track invigorates nonstop 2-step movement. This track is delicious – with vocals as catchy as these, you can’t help but sing along. So grab a friend with a car, plug this into the stereo, and drive.

This Norwegian is no stranger to the trance scene. He has fully captured the potential in Sarah Shields voice, bringing us ‘Not Alone’ – a tune that balances weighted synths with uplifting melody, perfectly. Daniel Van Sand is a welcomed favorite on Armin Van Buuren’s ASOT series and rightfully so – his music is constantly turning heads as the break portrays his versatility in producing both trance and film score vividly. This track adds to the ever-growing catalog of free trance and progressive found at AMPED ARTISTS, and if this is the caliber of music they continue to push out I expect big things coming their way.

House | ID – Rumors (Original Mix)

Posted by on November 30, 2014

As much as we like to poke fun at Spinnin’ Records, they’re putting out some damn good tunes right now. Earlier this week, Oliver Heldens tweeted about “Rumors” to be released on Spinnin’ Records that’s pitched down vocals future house greatness. This isn’t the first time the track has been featured, as it was played on Oliver Helden’s latest “Heldeep Radio” episode. Who could the track be produced by? I have my guesses, however, I’ll wait until Spinnin’ Records reveals the track.

I wouldn’t want to start any rumors. See what I did there?
