For those of you who didn’t catch a glimpse of the epic Tommy Trash remix of Antidote, here it is. My favorite part of this remix has to be the fact it is as heavy as the original versions of Antidote, you know, before they threw in the Will.I.Am esque vocals. For you Knife Party and SHM fiends I threw in a download of the preview, considering how sick this remix is anyways.

Continuing the trend of huge releases today, as previewed by W8, Tiesto’s label Musical Freedom presents this massive Tommy Trash remix of the classic “Slumber”. It is not as heavy as we are used to hearing from the fast rising Aussie DJ, but it still packs a powerful punch with a bass and synth driven break and shows he can vary his sound. The vocals from Lindsey Ray are a perfect compliment to the instrumental. Get this on Beatport HERE.

The Aftershave has arrived to Zedd’s “Shave It” with the stacked remix package of Tommy Trash and Kaskade. Kaskade keeps this song heavy but makes the drop a little smoother with the great production work you always get from Kaskade. Tommy Trash adds his signature heavy electro sound to the drop, while maintaining a lot of the original song with a heavier, thumping bass throughout. Coming off of the sensational trance remix from Ferry Corsten, the larger official remix package for this Moby classic has come out with two sublime remixes by two of the best up and comers in EDM, Tommy Trash and Tim Mason. Tommy Trash puts his signature electro spin on this song, though he does not overwhelm it and make it too heavy. The build may be the best part of the song, though the drop is pretty nasty as well. The Tim Mason Remix is much more progessive with a more euphoric house sound. Synths slowly build with the vocals to a breakdown of euphoric synth and bass.

The above video is one of the many reasons I voted for Hardwell in the DJ mag poll. “Future Folk” from Tommy Trash is a huge track with his signature hard hitting electro sound as well as some very interesting sounds mixed in. Add some awesome synth and pumping bass and you have yourself a banger. You will want this track as it is going to be everywhere.

“Alive” is an anthem no doubt, and it is great in so many ways, but when I first heard it I could tell there was room for a remix. Tommy Trash did just that and infused his brand of electro to this summer anthem to create a powerful drop that works perfectly with the slow melodic build.

Dada Life are some crazy guys cracking eggs on each others heads and all the other stuff they do, but as long as they continue to crank out heaters, they can do what they want. These next three are some great house tracks, all unique in their own right. Tommy Trash puts his own spin on this great trash and makes it a little heavier with the great vocals and that awesome drop at 2:30.

Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman throw together a more standard progressive house tune, with that infective synth and bass work. The opening is great and the vocals work really well.
