Abstract Hip-Hop | Appleby – Drinkin’
Posted by dshaq on January 22, 2015
Listen up and listen good. Appleby has been grabbing my attention with each of his few but powerful releases. Today we welcome Him and his brand new single Drinkin’ to FNT. He brings a new and different sound with each new song, and Drinkin’ is no different. Bee actually had a quick something to say about the song:
“The concept and act of drinking is a newly formed habit of mine. Introduced to me last year through an adventurous relationship that ended in mutual silence. Drinkin’ gives insight but reserves the details for a future release.”
What impresses me so much with Appleby and his sound is the artistry behind it. Whether it is the hooks, verses, or production, everything builds together in fantastic harmony. Coupled with Appleby’s fantastic lyricism, his sound is something that will be around to stay. Get to know Appleby and his sound. Also Bee decided to give out another track “Scars in Waiting” which also will help you get to know Appleby. Enjoy and look out for more to come.
FYI | An Anatomy Of A Pop Song: Usher’s “I Don’t Mind” Ft. Juicy J
Posted by BIGLIFE on January 22, 2015
Usher has another hit on his hands. “I Don’t Mind” is incredibly catchy, as I found myself listening to it multiples today until I was sick of hearing it. This, of course, is by design, as Dr. Luke and Cirkut produced the record. If you don’t know who Dr. Luke and Cirkut are, they’re a production team (of sorts) that are responsible for almost every hit on the radio. Collaborators Benny Blanco and Max Martin would beg to differ, but I digress. The average fan doesn’t know (and perhaps doesn’t care) about who produced and wrote the new Usher single, but we do. It’s northing short of fascinating.

House | Tchami feat. Kaleem Taylor – Promesses (Pep & Rash Remix)
Posted by BIGLIFE on December 8, 2014
Here’s the deal: many moons ago Pep & Rash released a “Promesses” bootleg that’s still up on their Soundcloud. Tchami’s “Promesses” is also seeing a re-release but I digress. Earlier today, they released an updated version (premiered by the one and only Pete Tong) of the record set to release in April on Ministry Of Sound. I’ve said it before and I’m going to say it again: Pep Rash are the next big thing and will have a massive 2015. I love their sound and brand. Shout out to Music Allstars Management.

House | Michael Calfan – Treasured Soul (Original Mix)
Posted by BIGLIFE on December 8, 2014
Building on the success of his break through “Prelude” single, Michael Calfan steps back into the ring with his latest “Treasured Soul” release available today on Spinnin’ Records. Does the new single contain production elements of “Prelude” in it? Of course. That’s exactly why we like it. In fact, the proceeds of the sales will go to charity, which is always a good luck. Turn it up and purchase below.
