Electro-House | Bailey Smalls – Force
Posted by Mach on March 25, 2013
Bailey Smalls came out with a straight Electro-House banger today. Titled “Force”, Bailey brings the heat in this raver’s fantasy. This the perfect track to kick of the festival season and get in the spirit of raging. Bailey has come a long way since his first releases and by the sound of it, things are just getting started for this ambitious producer.

Hip-Hop | The Notorious BIG – Dead Wrong (WoodysProduce Remix)
Posted by Mach on March 9, 2013
I’m sure people are getting tired of all the Biggie that is being played today. I couldn’t resist putting up this cool 90s vibed out remix of “Dead Wrong”. One of my favorites from the legend, love how different Woody made it.
Hip-Hop | Asher Roth – Dude (feat. Curren$y) [Prod. Blended Babies]
Posted by LoffyG on February 13, 2013
As many of you know today is Ash Wednesday (hopefully you didn’t give up hip-hop for lent), so it’s only right that we get a new release from the “dude” Ash Roth. He recruits fellow rapper/chiller Curren$y to accompany him on this Blended Babies production. After hearing the beat drop I knew Ash & Spitta were gonna go in on this one, the production fits their style perfectly. Enjoy this track because we probably won’t be hearing much from Asher as he is about to embark on his European tour!
Events | Henrix @ Mixify Rise Festival 2/14/13
Posted by Middy on February 12, 2013
Mixify is hosting the largest online festival of its kind at the moment with big name Djs like Knife Party, Arty, Deniz Koyu, Tritonal, R3hab, Walden, Adrian Lux, Ken Loi and many more. It kicked off earlier today with Adrian Lux throwing down a superb set and others like Tritonal, Danny Avila and the Stafford Brothers following suit. As I am writing this, Ken Loi is just starting his set, so tune in for that. The festival will continue until the 14th at 9pm. We are sponsoring fast rising talent, Henrix’s set on the 14th from 7-8, so before you head out for a debaucherously romantic night on the town, tune in to Henrix’s 1 hour set filled with hard hitting percussive beats. RSVP to the event below and check out further info on the event including who is playing right now here.
Pop | Stafford Brothers – Hello ft. Lil Wayne & Christina Milian (Pleather Remix)
Posted by Jess on February 11, 2013

In stark contrast to the original version of the track, Pleather comes through with a unique and smooth take on Stafford Brothers’s Cash Money single “Hello”. Switching gears from the original, the remix feels more like an 80s love ballad than a club anthem. In my opinion, the production fits the vocals of Christina Milian and Lil Wayne even better than the original. The track becomes available on Beatport on the 14th, but you can download it today for free! Make sure you become a fan of Pleather on Facebook to stay up on future releases.
Progressive House | Twibak – Fluke
Posted by W8 on February 8, 2013
Over the years, I have remained in constant contact with Twibak from across the pond in Sweden. He is a special producer to say the least. Crafting a certain quality in his production that gives you an indefinite feeling of potential; just living life like we all do. He doesn’t release tracks that often, and so this marks a special occasion. ”Fluke” has an alleviated compression feel to it, nothing that exaggerated. Seamless transitions front to back with delicate anthemic work bundled with smooth synths and sprays. Altogether a blissful array of rhythm.

Trance | Nitrous Oxide pres. N2O – K.O.
Posted by Middy on February 4, 2013
Anjunabeats has been a tear leading up to the release on Anjunabeats Volume 10 with one huge track after another each week. Following up tracks like Ost & Meyer’s “Here We Go“, ilan Bluestone’s “Sinai” and Audien’s “Wayfarer“, Anjunabeats regular, Nitrous Oxide returns with his single “K.O.”. Atmospheric synths, a grinding low end and quick key play pervade throughout while a minimal electro trance drop gives the track power for the live venue. This track shows the continued covergence of trance and house into what was once dubbed “trance 2.0” and as Armin van Buuren launches his “Are You Afraid of 138” campaign, it shows the widening difference in how trance is being perceived and produced in 2013.
