Chill | Caden Jester takes us to Fireplaces
Posted by VMan on December 9, 2016
It’s been quite some time since we last covered Caden Jester, but the wait has been worth it, damnit! Re-uniting with pop-star vocalist in the making Christopher Blake, Fireplaces is as warm and inviting as the title suggests. Driven by an infectious synthesizer riff, adn complimented by Blake’s smooth-as-Whiskey-should-be topline, Fireplaces is perfect for your after party apartment playlist.
House | Gutter Brothers Create Dark House Remix Of Kolia’s “We Go”
Posted by VMan on December 2, 2016
LA-based duo Gutter Brothers bless us with another single, this time taking Kolia’s “We Go” and transforming it into a dark and deep house experience that’s hard not to love. Released on Solmatic Records, this instrumental conveys the hypnotizing vibes that classic house delivers, and then some.
Gutter Brothers, who previously focused on trap, seem to be switch gears, and it’s working. Their twist on house is refreshing in a world saturated by so much of it.
Gutter Brothers plan to make bigger moves in 2017. Keep an eye out for more action from them soon.
Albums | Odd Mob Is Down For Love
Posted by VMan on November 15, 2016
Odd Mob strikes back with a new single entitled “Down For Love” graced with newcomer Helen’s catchy vocals. This time, the duo comprised of Robbie and Harry delivers a track fusing Hip Hop and Future Bass. In fact, Odd Mob is constantly on the lookout for new sonorities to play around with, continually developing and growing their own sound. Would it be their 90’s throwback ‘Into You feat. Starley’, which dominated the ARIA club chart at #1 for a record 7 weeks, their Indian influenced track “Origin” or their bass heavy “Gassed Up”, Robbie and Harry are relentlessly experimenting with all of what music has to offer.
“We’re both huge fans of rap/hip-hop in general and basically started playing around with this old sampled drum beat. The whole track built itself around that in no time at all. It’s definitely one of our cleanest/tightest productions to date! We never set any boundaries when we hop in the studio so we’re always making stuff that sounds nothing like what we’ve made before. I mean, back in the day, songwriters only had access to a certain number of sounds, whether it be their guitar/drums or whatever analogue synth they happened to own. Nowadays we can literally use any sound in the whole world, so it just makes sense for us to always be making different music and experimenting with different sounds.” – Odd Mob

Electronic | Attlas writer Wilsonn adds a luscious vocal to SteLouse’s periscope
Posted by VMan on November 14, 2016
In a time where every aspiring producer breaks out with their unofficial remixes of bigger artists, it’s kind of surprising that a vocalist hasn’t really done that in electronic music. Enter the enigmatic Wilsonn. Known for co-writing Attlas’s breakout record ‘Kayla,’ Wilsonn borrows SteLouse’s Periscope, and turns it into a vocal masterpiece that’s begging to be an official release. Pay attention.
Trap | RYDEN’s Sophmore Single “Ready” A Strong Follow Up To “Dear God”
Posted by VMan on November 7, 2016
RYDEN previously released her single “Dear God” a few weeks back, a single that had a deep message than most electronic music songs. This time she takes it a step further with ‘Ready”. A single completely created by her from start to finish. The actual sound of her voice is good in itself, making the lyrics easily insert itself into your brain. “Ready” is raw, gritty, tough, and gets more intense as the single progresses.
The orchestral aspects of the single are probably my favorite part, next to the drop, adding a nice little atmospheric that makes tune feel important.
RYDEN received a ton of support on his last single, “Ready” is set to go just as big if not bigger, stay tuned.

Tough Love & Roger Sanchez team up, and recruit Boy George, to release “Hold On,” a groovy deep house banger that will hit you right in the feels. There’s an analogy I like to revert back to every time, when describing this sound; imagine yourself at a club in London 4AM, and then it hits you, you find that new burst of energy to keep you going till the break of dawn, that’s “Hold On” for you. If this is your first time discovering Tough Love, get with the program, they’re taking over the UK house scene, and are currently finishing up their tour in the US. Press play, it’s a must listen!
