Progressive House, Videos | Swedish House Mafia ft. John Martin- Don’t You Worry Child (Video)

Posted by on September 14, 2012

They came, they raved, they loved. While they still have some raving left to do, the “Don’t You Worry Child” video is poetic sendoff for these three superstars as they venture off into their solo careers knowing that they completely changed the game. The video shows us moments from the beginning of their time together when they were just rocking clubs to their stratospheric rise to stardom taking over venues like Madison Square Garden, headlining Coachella, and last but not least, Milton Keynes Bowl — the sight of this video. If you were there to witness them on this journey, get ready for the goosebumps. The end of the video references this website onelasttour.com, which says more dates will come this Monday, September 17th. The radio edit of “Don’t You Worry Child” is out now with the extended version to come soon.

Electro-House | Silver Medallion – Stay Young (GTA Remix)

Posted by on September 11, 2012

With the “Stay Young” music video reaching over 100k views in little over a week and the song getting steady rotation on radio across the country, Silver Medallion decided to release GTA’s epic remix of the track for free. The acclaimed duo, Miami’s Van Toth and JWLS, took the “Stay Young” vocal and turned it from a Pop/EDM singalong to a huge big room house destroyer that reminds me a bit like a Swedish House Mafia track. Along with the release, a short video edit by CFLO for the remix was released as well. Download the track for free below and blast it loud. R.I.P. to former Silver Medallion member Abay “Carnegie” Lattin who was tragically killed by a drunk driver two years from today.

Cover | Adam Jensen- Don’t You Worry Child

Just last week, we introduced you to Boston rock sensation Adam Jensen. This week, he’s back with another top-notch cover of Swedish House Mafia’s “Don’t You Worry Child” that’s the perfect video to unwind to. He’s not without help though, as Alex Knutsen is on guitar and Nick DiSpagna is on the bass. Keep an eye on Adam Jensen as he continues to make waves sizable in the blogosphere.

House, Preview | Swedish House Mafia – Don’t You Worry Child (Radio Preview)

Posted by on August 10, 2012

After the success of the Milton Keynes Bowl, delivering the great trio’s final release, we now have a much better preview to tease our ears with. Not to be that guy, but this tracks instrumental is scary similar to “Save The World.” (Waits for target to be painted on the back of head) Being their last release, this track will undoubtedly top all music charts anyways. One thing that stands out more than anything is the lyrics that Swedish House Mafia have laid over from John Martin. If anything, vocalists are the reason that no one really seems to care how similar instrumentals are to previous releases. Look at David Guetta, he has practically made a living off of that production style.

I know I strongly come off as a hater of Swedish House Mafia, but I am just disappointed that Gemini seems to never be releasing his remix of “Miami 2 Ibiza.” My second defense is that this last release I love listening to way more than “Save The World.”  There is no official release date yet, but myself and many will over play previews until that great day.

Progressive House, Videos | Swedish House Mafia – Don’t You Worry Child (Live Preview)

Posted by on July 15, 2012

Swedish House Mafia on the heals of the announcement of their impending breakup, also announced their new single “Don’t You Worry Child”, which is said to have made their manager cry. It was rumored to release tomorrow, July 16th, but that was just wishful thinking. It was premiered at their historic show last night at Milton Keyes Bowl in front of 65,000 people as their final UK tour date. With John Martin reportedly on the vocals and Swedish House Mafia delivering an incredibly emotional, uplifting track with masterfully crafted melodies, this may just be the best Swedish House Mafia song we have seen yet.
