Posted by VMan on July 27, 2022
Rob Lea has returned with a delightful new single out now via WBA Records called “Summer In The Morning” that is summer soaked and as feel good as it gets. The new track follows on from his debut single ‘Reflection’ earlier this year that gained him huge support from national and regional press and radio. The UK based singer/songwriter has been working on music his entire life and keeps pushing the envelope in his musical output. Check out a quote from Rob Lea on the release below now and stream “Summer in the Morning” above!
“This song is about fun, sun, love and freedom. I wanted to create a song you can let go, sing at the top of your voice, dance on the table and have a great time.” – Rob Lea
Tropical House | Paxel’s Notorious B.I.G. Remix Gets You Ready For Summer
Posted by Juicebox on April 1, 2015
After having heard countless remixes of The Notorious B.I.G, it was really refreshing to hear one that was different from the rest. French producer Paxel has taken this track and given it an uplifting tropical vibe, using the vocals so well that I almost forgot that the original was actually an old school hip-hop track. If he keeps going like this, Paxel is going to be someone to definitely be on the lookout for in 2015, reminding me of a young Matoma. This one is a free download – so sit back, relax, vibe to it as we watch the snow melt away and sun come out!
Chill, House | Israel Kamakawiwo’ole – Somewhere Over The Rainbow (Thomas Jack Remix)
Posted by Middy on March 9, 2014
As someone in the tail end of his Aussie summer, Thomas Jack releases this remix as a farewell to the season filled with sun, golden coasts and warm breezes. Israel Kamakawiwo’ole’s island hit “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” became a worldwide hit a few years ago and still receives some play on the radio and commercially. The Hawaiian goodness from the original is channeled by Thomas Jack as he injects a little here and there with some tropical melodies and easy rhythms. He has released this as a thank you for reaching 50k on Facebook & 30k on twitter, so grab it for free below.

Pop | Alexander Tikhomirov – Summer of my dreams
Posted by W8 on December 9, 2013
It’s about that time of year when most of us are longing for summer once more (at least for those of us here in the Northern Hemisphere), and this video I assure you will not ease that yearning. As a youtube commenter so bluntly put it ”My Life Suck : (” aha. Solidifying everything that is summer, Alexander Tikhomirov conquers a vast amount sun-soaked, breezy warm memory on film, all backed by a good track from Perfectiona. I get an early 2000’s Blink-182 vibe from this. As soon as you press play, you’ll be swept away by the refreshing landscapes, and will let you know summer can be a state of mind anyways.

Mix, Trance | Markus Schulz 2-Hour Sunrise Set
Posted by Middy on July 23, 2013
It is currently 3am here on the east coast. That means the sun’s rays will be peaking up over the horizon in just under 2 hours. What a better way to get ready for the imminent arrival of the sun then a set specifically curated for the occasion by none other then Markus Schulz. He has his own stage at Tomorrowland where he will be playing for 12 hours, so just assume there are few guys as crazy / hyper boss as him. Sit back and listen to this set and let the soothing melodies and rhythms take you away. Tracklist after the jump.

Chill, Indie | SPIRITANIMAL – Forever Ago (Prod. by DREAMGHOST)
Posted by Mel on June 25, 2013
Tucked deeply away in the depths of my bedside drawer is a box of tissues. I don’t keep them out in the open because, quite frankly, it’s embarrassing. Nobody wants to know what I do when things didn’t go as planned and I’m all alone in my bed at night. Well, the sun hasn’t even set yet but the box is out of the drawer. You see, I like to make paper mache hats out of slightly damp tissues. How it becomes damp is none of my concern. One cannot simply construct these hats with pants on or without music and house is far to frantic for the delicacy and concentration required so it cannot do. It is for that reason I turn to the soothing sounds of chillwave. Chillwave, in a sense, is the shirtless Adam Levine of the music world. Not many search for it, but once in a while you’ll come across a pic and, not bad. A collaboration between SPIRITANIMAL and DREAMGHOST, whose names are in all caps for some reason, was my shirtless pick for the day (I picked it while shirtless). Whether you are driving around the city or just having fun with damp tissues, this song will fit the occasion.
