Events | Henrix @ Mixify Rise Festival 2/14/13
Posted by Middy on February 12, 2013
Mixify is hosting the largest online festival of its kind at the moment with big name Djs like Knife Party, Arty, Deniz Koyu, Tritonal, R3hab, Walden, Adrian Lux, Ken Loi and many more. It kicked off earlier today with Adrian Lux throwing down a superb set and others like Tritonal, Danny Avila and the Stafford Brothers following suit. As I am writing this, Ken Loi is just starting his set, so tune in for that. The festival will continue until the 14th at 9pm. We are sponsoring fast rising talent, Henrix’s set on the 14th from 7-8, so before you head out for a debaucherously romantic night on the town, tune in to Henrix’s 1 hour set filled with hard hitting percussive beats. RSVP to the event below and check out further info on the event including who is playing right now here.

Pop | Stafford Brothers – Hello ft. Lil Wayne & Christina Milian (Pleather Remix)
Posted by Jess on February 11, 2013
In stark contrast to the original version of the track, Pleather comes through with a unique and smooth take on Stafford Brothers’s Cash Money single “Hello”. Switching gears from the original, the remix feels more like an 80s love ballad than a club anthem. In my opinion, the production fits the vocals of Christina Milian and Lil Wayne even better than the original. The track becomes available on Beatport on the 14th, but you can download it today for free! Make sure you become a fan of Pleather on Facebook to stay up on future releases.

Electro-House | Stafford Brothers Ft. Christina Milian – Hello (Henrix Remix)
Posted by Middy on January 23, 2013
Recent signees to Cash Money Records, the Stafford Brothers have announced the remix package for their debut single “Hello” on the Birdman led record label. Among names like Albin Myers, Dannic, Morten Breum, Damn Wright and Candyland, Henrix, one of our 13 to watch in 2013, steps to the forefront and releases his remix early for free download. The original sounded like Cash Money records was afraid to let a full-fledge dance track be released on its label and stripped down the potential of the Stafford Brothers work. In come the various remixers and here Henrix. His take on the track incorporates a acid fueled drop, melding together the melodic elements of the original and grittier, clubier additions to give the track the boost is so desperately needed. Also check out his remix of Tiesto’s “Love Comes Again” set for release February 4th.

Progressive House | Krewella – Alive (Stafford Brothers & Jealous Much Remix)
Posted by Middy on October 7, 2012
There are some DJs who build a almost cult-like following in their home country. You can look at examples like Sebastien Bennett in France, DJ Bl3nd in the US and the makers of this remix, Stafford Brothers in Australia. They have been mainstays in the Australian scene for several years now and after moving to LA this year, they look to take their talents to the international scene. This remix of “Alive” keeps Krewella’s vocal while practically totally reconstructing the instrumental with distorted synths and a strong bass line in a track that gets right to it and keeps the energy high the entire time.
Mashups | Stafford Brothers – Bootlegs Vol. 1
Posted by Jess on August 29, 2012
The Stafford Brothers have already made their name as Australia’s #1 DJ’s and are hoping to take their success stateside. With the support from Lil Wayne (love or hate Weezy, he does have 40 million fans on Facebook), you can expect that big things are ahead for these two. They recently decided to let loose some dance floor weapons that they’ve been rocking out all over America in their latest Bootleg pack. Take listen to the set below and grab a copy of each one.
