Chill | Azles and Cathalyst’s “Invincible” Takes You A Spiritual Chill Journey
Posted by VMan on September 10, 2016
“Invincible” doesn’t really fit one genre and doesn’t have a single type of sound that you can pinpoint. It is an eclectic blend of so many chill sounds all wrapped up into one, you have to listen multiple times to understand what you are hearing – something fully original and semi-spiritual.
Azles and Cathalyst are not a duo, but collaborated on this release “Invincible” which is beginning to put them on a path of recognition. The two both have less than 2000 followers, but contain a sound that you’d expect someone way bigger to have.
Chill | Steve Void’s “Chemistry” Hit’s #4 On SoundCloud’s “New & Hot” Overall Chart And Climbing
Posted by VMan on September 8, 2016
Steve Void is one house artist who’s hard to ignore. Few come close to his sound design ability and knowledge regarding chill house and deep house trends, and he’s been rewarded for this. Steve Void has over 11 million streams attained in under a year. If that doesn’t scream success I don’t know what does.
Steve Void’s “Chemistry” features a beautiful blend of chill house elements that have taken over the scene in the last couple of years while also taking a stab at the future bass explosion that is upon us. I’d be looking out for big things from this artist, such as a new collaboration with, let’s say, with Sam Feldt. (Hint hint.)
Deep House, House | T-Pain – I’m Sprung (Vasta Remix)
Posted by BIGLIFE on August 15, 2016
This is pretty much how I feel right now, even though it’s Monday, I feel like this is gonna be a great week. Vasta is probably my favorite rising star mixing in UK house vibes of the underground, and making it super groovy and easy to listen to. With a familiar sound with the “Im Sprung” lyrics, and some big drops, you will for sure love this! Make sure you download the tune here and vibe with this amazing remix: Free Download T-Pain – I’m Sprung (Vasta Remix
Alternative, Pop | lilmallrat – For Real
Posted by BIGLIFE on August 11, 2016
This tune is so catchy and makes me smile, for real. I’ve been following lilmallrat for a few months now, and the production and the overall vibe is absolutely ahead of the curve. Lots of artists try and sound cool, act like they are setting the trend, but lilmallrat is nailing it. This is definitely not the last we will hear from this up and comer, but for now make sure to checkout the rest of the tunes here: lilmallrat
Interviews | Meet One Of LA’s Hottest Progressive House DJs: Varun
Posted by VMan on July 22, 2016
Varun is one of LA’s quickest rising progressive house artists. If you are thinking this is Above and Beyond, think again. This dude goes hard and his releases speak for themselves, delivering heavy-hitting tracks with strong melodies. We go to dive into Varun’s life as a DJ/producer in our up-close and exclusive interview with Varun.
Where do you think the direction of progressive house is heading?
Varun: It’s tough to say. I love Progressive House but the scene is definitely changing. There are a lot of new styles of music that are coming out and people are loving it. The biggest shift I’ve seen are these more percussive and noise driven drops (almost seeming a bit random at times). Some of it is a bit much for me but some of it is executed pretty damn well.
Progressive House | Ingenia’s “Horizon” Is Something The World Needs Right Now
Posted by VMan on July 11, 2016
“Horizon” has one of the more unique and hospitable stories the world really needs right now. Duo Ingenia have paired up with Robin Vane which not only bred a dope house sound that will soften your heart, but also speaks a message that few could experience: The ups and downs Robin Vane had as he dealt with young abused victims through the company Thrive World.
For Ingenia, this will be their last song before they go their separate ways. A sad moment, but one that will only bring more success for Jordi and Wouter in the future.

White Cliffs is definitely someone to keep on your radar in 2016. After climbing up the HypeM charts with his remix of Alex Care’s “Too Close,” and making his festival DJ debut at EDC New York and Mysteryland, Brooklyn based producer White Cliffs presents his newest project, a flawless melodic / bass crossover remix of Abby Diamond’s “Good”. Having played jazz guitar and piano before getting involved in producing, White Cliffs is able to put a unique touch on his original music using these elements to his advantage. We were able to sit down with him after he rocked the Silent Disco at Mysteryland and speak on his evolving sound, creative process and pre-show rituals. Expect a lot of exciting projects coming from White Cliffs in the near future!
