UPDATE: Alright FNTers here’s the scoop: Unfortunately a number of issues sort of culminated into one big breakdown leaving us paralyzed for the past several days which seemed like an eternity. It sort of felt like I had just been dumped by a girlfriend. This post is for all those people (myself included) who are in need of a beachside vacation… For the record I skipped all my classes for the fans and Gmoney pretty much sacrificed his job for everyone, thats how much we love you.

The Bloody Beetroots have squeezed 18 of their best remixes into one album–set to release on Valentine’s Day. Best Of…Remixes will feature The Chemical Brothers, MSTRKRFT and many others. For the past three years, The Bloody Beetroots have pleased the ears of electronic music lovers. I’m sort of thankful this compilation is dropping on the 14th (my girlfriends and I will most definitely play the album, in all of its “historical” glory, before going out). Cheers to being single!

For those of you who enjoyed “Temptations,” the track I posted last week by Gorilla Warfare Tactics, here’s an ill freestyle video for your viewing pleasure (that sentence is so corny). Shot in my favorite neighborhood of New York City, the East Village, this video emulates the same sort of raw energy which spills from the area. Kristopher Rey-Talley, one of GWT’s fellow peers, shot and edited the video.

Britney’s latest single “Hold It Against Me” has been an overnight worldwide sensation, topping iTunes charts in over 16 countries. I am sure it comes as no surprised that budding producers and DJ’s were all chomping at the bit to get after this dubstep-influenced Dr. Luke production. The names aren’t looking familiar at all are they? That’s because they’re not. I try my best to be selective about what I post. I’ve really been cracking down lately though. I’ve been guilty of over-posting in the past. I’m all about quality over quantity. That’s why I giving you this mega-post to sort through. Just kidding. That being said, here’s some submissions that I thought were worthy of your ears. You may agree with me, you may disagree with me, but you’ve gotta respect me for keeping it consistent everyday.
