It’s not too shabby to be debuting your first show at one of the largest electronic music festivals around, well that’s what happened for Miami Production Duo SMLE, who played their first festival just the other month down at Ultra Music Festival. The guys have been quickly gaining momentum online with a debut EP that they released last month and a slew of hit remixes that have built them a solid fan base that continues to grow. SMLE, hailing from Miami, comes in hot with this remix to Alicia Key’s “You Don’t Know My Name”, and I am loving every second of it. It gives off a real airy and romantic feeling, then the main drums come out of left field and throw the listener for a loop. Somebody call the fire brigade because this track is just too hot to handle. SMLE hit my radar and with this much swag he’s got nothing holding him down. The kid just reinvented T-Pain. Is T-Pain even making music? I don’t know but SMLE should probably produce his next album because this throwback got a much needed futuristic resurrection. Lay back, pop in some ear phones, and swerve.
