Electronic, Pop | Manila Killa Returns With Anthemic Original Single “Youth”
Posted by VMan on May 27, 2016
LA based producer Manila Killa is back to show off his infectious production skills with the anthemic original track “Youth.” He first launched himself into prominence with the mellifluous and widely received “All That’s Left,” and it seems “Youth” is headed in the same direction. On this one, he teams up with vocalist Satica to deliver an electronic pop gem glimmering with feel-good melodies and bursting with unabashed energy.
Consistent with the title, “Youth” is meant to convey the feeling of being completely alive and uninhibited. The lyrics tell a story characterized by freedom and the self-assured confidence that comes with being young. The feeling is emphasized by smooth piano work, expansive chords and Satica’s silky voice. It’s just in time for summer and can accompany you throughout warm nights blissful dancing, questionable choices and reckless abandon.
