Next Thursday, May 9th FNT and Big Beat will be hosting young Australian producer, Walden for his May Brightness Session on Mixify. Coming off of the release of his 3 track “Machine Land EP“, the burgeoning talent has lived up to the lofty expectations set for him this year so far. In this 3 hour event, you will see opening sets from rising Dutch duo Sick Individuals, whose growing catalog of remixes have become the favorites of many, and New Jersey duo, Cash Cash, whose “Alive” remix has put them squarely in the spotlight of the dance music world and catapulted them to getting signed by Big Beat Records. Next week, Fresh New Tracks will take on South By Southwest, the self-proclaimed “premier destination for all discovery” that sets the trends of music for the next year to come. SXSW is a film, music, and interactive festival that takes over the city of Austin for 10 outrageous straight days. The music festival is comprised of official and unofficial (usually free) shows, rooftop parties, party boats and buses and no to mention the most interesting collection of people you will ever see.

Events | Henrix @ Mixify Rise Festival 2/14/13

Mixify is hosting the largest online festival of its kind at the moment with big name Djs like Knife Party, Arty, Deniz Koyu, Tritonal, R3hab, Walden, Adrian Lux, Ken Loi and many more. It kicked off earlier today with Adrian Lux throwing down a superb set and others like Tritonal, Danny Avila and the Stafford Brothers following suit. As I am writing this, Ken Loi is just starting his set, so tune in for that. The festival will continue until the 14th at 9pm. We are sponsoring fast rising talent, Henrix’s set on the 14th from 7-8, so before you head out for a debaucherously romantic night on the town, tune in to Henrix’s 1 hour set filled with hard hitting percussive beats. South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, Texas is hands down one of the most prestigious musical festivals in the country. Unlike many festivals, SXSW encompasses almost all genres of music, so that nobodies musical taste buds go unsatisfied. If you are interested in all performances that are going to be happening during SXSW you can find them HERE.
If you are looking to party with FNT (and you would be silly not to) during SXSW, we will be crashing two insane events this year. The first EPIC is on Thursday March 15th and features sets from Andy C, Flux Pavillion, Dirtyphonics, Shiftee, Mistajam, and thats just the the ones I can count with one hand. The second show is going to be on Saturday March 17th featuring the Dieselboy, Bare, Terravita, J.Rabbit and much much more. Both of these showcases will easily have your ears thanking you for days, so if you want to party with FNT, you know where to find us.
