House | Listen to Gryffin’s Amazing New Remix of Years & Years’ “Desire”
Posted by Tay on July 31, 2015
Everything Gryffin touches is absolutely magic. A few months ago, he unveiled an out-of-this-world remix of Years & Years’ “King,” as he blended his expertly crafted melodies with the indie soul of the UK band, but it seems like the NYC-based producer isn’t finished with his friends from across the pond. Gryffin’s latest effort sees him dabbling into Communion once again, as he turns “Desire” into a dance music classic. Years & Years frontman, Olly Alexander, is front and center on the remix, as Gryffin masterfully floats Alexander’s soulful croons atop a bed of dreamy melodies and evolving bass lines. Since storming onto the scene last year, Gryffin has been on a meteoric rise to the top, and with his “Desire” remix taking the honors of being the lead single off of the forthcoming We Are Your Friends, the future is bright for the young phenom.
Mix | Feel The Soul In Michael Calfan’s Exclusive Mix For TomorrowWorld

Following the trapped out mix by Shaq Aka DJ Diesel and the diversified feature by Benny Benassi, France’s Michael Calfan is the next artist heading to the Chattahoochee Hills of Georgia that will preview what he has coming in September with an Exclusive TomorrowWorld mix. Calfan really took hold in the modern dance age with his reinvented soul house sound. It’s super upbeat, super feel-good, and has a demeanor that surprisingly fits on the main stage alongside big room. For this mix, the Parisian maestro leads us through a selection of tracks from Riva Starr’s “The Loft” to his own remix of “Koala” to Watermät and MOGUAI’s recently dropped “Portland.” Full of soul, groove, and bass, Michael Calfan keeps our ears satisfied for all 60 minutes of the mix, and the best part is its for free download

Progressive House | Gabe Almeda Goes Big On Remix of VÉRITÉ’s “Wasteland”
Posted by Tay on July 23, 2015
Philadelphia-native Gabe Almeda is a wizard in the studio, and this can be seen through his summer-ready tracks that he’s been pumping out since his initial emergence just 2 years ago. Up until now he’s been focusing on originals, but for this release, he’s bringing us a remix of VÉRITÉ, a renowned artist from New York. Her song, “Wasteland,” was once a dance-pop gem, but Gabe Almeda took it upon himself to flip it into a progressive house jam, complete with a euphoric vibe and high-energy feel. Enjoy!

If you haven’t heard of Taylor Wise by now, it’s about time you become familiar with the rising star. With multiple releases charting as the #1 track on Hypem and his SoundCloud racking in over a million plays, this New York newcomer has been making some serious buzz. A few years back The 1975 released one of my all time favorite tracks, “Chocolate.” Taylor has given the remix a fresh makeover with a dose of pop and a nice touch of summer. Roll the windows down and turn your speakers up, this is the track for your summer.

It’s July, and the summer couldn’t be brighter down in Southern California where beautiful music is being pumped out every day. Tropical house is all the rage this summer, whether you want to admit it or not, and Golden Coast have decided to switch their indie-pop composition style for more house elements in their remix of Savannah Outen’s “Boys.” Appealing to her steamy vocal touch, Golden Coast provide the perfect chilled-out, beach-ready instrumental to give you a BBQ playlist addition well before the weekend kicks off. Careful handling this one because it is hot.
Alternative | Kasum Takes Us Back To The Good Ole Days With Remix Of “Semi-Charmed Life”

If there is a remix you need to know about today, it is that Kasum took the bold remixing duties of Three Eye Blind’s 90s hit “Semi-Charmed Life.” Now, Kasum has some serious experience taking on classic pop-punk jams that defined many of our childhoods, but this one is straight up impressive. I don’t even know what to call the genre but it’s some incredibly creative mix of progressive melodies, a shredding guitar line, trap percussion in the back, and tropical instruments that pulls all the best from each source. This is the perfect remix to BBQ, party, or just lay out by the pool to. Check it out for yourself and grab the free download below.

Tropical House | Soak Up Some Sun With The Rooftop Boys’ Remix of The Griswolds’ “If You Wanna Stay”
Posted by Tay on July 9, 2015
There’s just something special about summer. The sun is shining brighter, the weather is getting warmer, everyone just seems happier and friendlier, and there are pool parties galore. There’s nothing in the world that can beat a pool party with some great friends, great drinks, and great music – and we’re here to provide you with the perfect soundtrack to your summer. Much like ice cold Coronas with lime, The Rooftop Boys were made for summer. The NYC-based duo of Bender and Hyberbits are experts at sun-soaked melodies and laidback vibes, and they certainly shine through in the duo’s latest remix of The Griswold’s “If You Wanna Stay.” The indie pop croons of the lead vocalist perfectly complement the summer-ready melodies and groovy bass lines of The Rooftop Boys, and if you take one listen, you’ll know that this track was made for the summer.
