Hip-Hop | One Spliff – Wiz Khalifa f. Malik MD7, S.A.S. & Calliko
Posted by GMONEY on November 9, 2011
Here’s a new smoker’s anthem from Wiz Khalifa and his boys, Malik MD7, S.A.S., & Calliko. Wiz’s verse is reused from Calliko’s track, Whip It All, but is much better suited for this hip hop reggae infused track.

Dubstep | Datsik & Bassnectar – Elevate & Yes
Posted by Middy on October 23, 2011
Bassnectar just dropped these two songs he did with Datsik as freebees for his fans and because Datsik made a drunken promise last night to release new tracks. “Elevate” is a new track that has some reggae influences and some old-school vocals. “Yes” is a track that has been floating around the internet for a while, but it wasn’t studio quality, so here is the studio quality.

Moombahton | Major Lazer – Original Don Ft. The Partysquad
Posted by Mach on October 14, 2011
About time the duo, Switch and Diplo, released something new for Major Lazer. Of course the guys had to dress up Mad Men’s Don Draper in the Major Lazer attire. Moombahton and reggae were meant to be blended this way. I am not the biggest Major Lazer fan, but the tracks I do like, deserve recognition. The duo has announced that this track will be featured with a few more on their new EP, dropping November 1st.
Dubstep | Rednek – They Call Me (Music Video)
Posted by Spice on September 28, 2011
The video for Rednek’s upcoming track, “They Call Me” hit the internet yesterday, and it’s amusing and very well done. A few moments definitely echo some of the crazy effects in Skrillex’s First of the Year video. Also really feeling the song; reggae-infused dubstep (typically referred to as “dub”) — who wouldn’t love that? Then again, this is the guy behind one of the more bizarre songs I’ve heard recently, so this atypical track doesn’t shock me too much. Banjo riffs aside, I think Rednek is definitely worth keeping an eye on.

Hip-Hop | 3rddy Baby feat. Mighty Mystic – Let You Go

It really doesn’t come more bulletproof than 3rddy Baby. We first caught an earful of 3rddy Baby when he released his remix to Beam Me Up (Included below), which literally caused BIGLIFE to fall out his chair. His latest masterpiece is a reggae ballad which features Might Mystic on the vocals.

Dubstep | Smash + Destroy, Zomboy, and Urban Knights | Dubstep
Posted by Mach on August 2, 2011
This is technically a mashup, but considering how good this is it belongs here. This track has the best of both worlds when it comes to heavy and soft tracks. The drop of course is sick, and the build up is perfect. You got to have this.

This remix is INSANE! Zomboy destroyed this track, in my opinion this is so much more awesome than the original.

This last track is one of the coolest remixes. The reggae start up is sweet. Once you hit the drop its nice, and then the wobbles a bit and it sounds epic.

Hip-Hop, Reggae | Matik – What Goes Up
Posted by GMONEY on July 28, 2011
After listening to a heap of “I’m On One” remixes, I thought I had heard it all, and I bet you think you have too. Well think again. Kingston native, Matik, turned this hip hop chart topper into a reggae sensation.
