Electro | Usher – Love In This Club (MSTRKRFT Remix) | Electro

Posted by on March 23, 2011

MSTRKRFT, a Canadian electro/punk/rap duo hailing from Ontario, seemingly blended their signature style with that of Wolfgang’s Illmerica to produce a completely new banging take on this Usher track. The strumming electro bass-guistarish synths are such a dope touch, more artists should toy with that sound.

Note: We realize this track is 3 years old, just a quality song.

Hip-Hop | Tayyib Ali – “California Love” | Hip-Hop

Posted by on March 22, 2011

Tayyib Ali dropped this video today, the production quality is actually really good. It was produced by Sabir Muhammad. I am really feeling the Cali love on this track, such a tease that an official MP3 isn’t being released with the video. This track has not only good vibes, but Tayyib Ali kills it. After the success of his first mixtape “Eighteen,” it does not surprise me that he is working on dropping his second one late this April. His upcoming mixtape is named “Keystone State of Mind.” Here is a previously posted track of his from the new mixtape, named after the tape itself.

Artists | 90s Finest

Posted by on March 18, 2011

90’s Finest is comprised of Steve Morris (showtime) and Remy Martin (rematic). Steve is a 20 year old who was born and raised in Toronto, while Remy is an 18 year old who also stems from Toronto. These 2 Toronto natives attended the same high school, Thomas A. Blakelock.

After graduation Steve headed to Brock University to study Kinesiology, while Remy took a year off to concentrate on music. 90’s finest are experiencing rapid success as they have only been making music for 2 months and have already garnered a solid reputation in the university circuit and have attracted some big names for future collaborations.

All of 90’s music is coming straight from a make shift studio situated in Steve’s garage, where late nights and early mornings have produced bangers that listeners have claimed to be “crisp”, and “absolutely nasty.” 90’s Finest first started getting attention after they dropped “strobe” a remix of the original deadmau5 hit. 90’s Finest focuses on producing quality electro/hip-hop/dub-rap music and will continue to produce music for a long time to come.

I need someone to start submitting reggae tracks to our gmail because it takes me forever to find something catchy. One out of fifteen tracks I listen to has both solid production and a catchy hook. And don’t tell me they blow because you cant understand the lyrics, just deal with it by making up your own. Big ups to Mark Hardy for always hitting us with quality tracks.
