Progressive House | This Norwegian Duo Continues To Knock Hits Out Of The Stadium

Posted by on January 29, 2016

Norwegian Duo has been releasing progressive hits back to back. With each release they garner more support from established media outlets. The sound design of their drums and lead synths stand out to even an experienced producer. We are excited to hear what they have next. If you haven’t heard their last single featuring Matthew Steeper (also featured on Project 46, Slander and many other world tour singles) here.

Progressive House | Hellberg – Saviors

Hellberg_saviorsMonstercat has always excelled at catching the little guy before they blow. Just a few like Project 46, Vicetone & Pegboard Nerds come to mind of the top of my head. Swedish producer Hellberg has slowly built his career over the past few years with some very solid remixes and originals, some of those on Monstercat and it seems like it is all finally coming together now. “Saviors” is his latest big, melodic original effort that you should cop right away since it is a free download.

Exclusive, Progressive House | FNT Premiere: Rob & Jack – Shadows (Karboncopy Remix)

ROB & JACK – SHADOWS (KARBONCOPY REMIX)

Karboncopy, connoisseurs of erotic styled literature and progressive house music are debuting their forthcoming remix of Rob & Jack’s “Shadows” right here on FNT. The track shares some similarities with their previous remix for Laidback Luke and Project 46’s “Collide”, as well as the hit summertime smash of autumn 2011, “Without You” by David Guetta, in the sense that they are all pretty good. A strong piano leads the song out of the break and into the build, where the rolling melody takes over and then climaxes, powerfully, at the drop. Karboncopy are tremendously skilled and in time are sure to be among the top progressive house artists coming out of Australia. The remix is out a week from today, July 21st. Until then, enjoy the stream exclusively below.

Progressive House | Laidback Luke & Project 46 ft. Collin McLoughlin – Collide (Karboncopy Remix)

Taken from the rather subpar remix pack for Laidback Luke, Project 46 and Collin McLoughlin’s “Collide”, the Australian duo known as Karboncopy have clearly the stand out track of the pack (with an honourable mention going to Marc Benjamin’s remix). We all know that, according to this very site, every song Collin McLoughlin is involved in might just go viral and so successfully remixing “Collide” would be no easy task. Karboncopy’s remix hardly resembles the original. They changed the structure of the song and kept the energy high during the break and the bridge before showcasing Collin’s vocals in the build and their fast paced melody in the drop. I might not go as far as to say this version is better than the original but if it isn’t, it’s close.

“Collide” is one hell of a tune. We called it when Laidback Luke released “Collide” on Monday last week. Hell, it’s climbing up the Beatport progressive house charts at number six as we speak. Laidback Luke, Project 46, and Collin McLoughlin continue the momentum by releasing the official video that may turn into a viral video. Talk about a plot twist. Make sure you purchase “Collide” on Beatport. This track has the potential to be played at festivals around the globe.

Premiered on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 “Essential Tune” playlist, Laidback Luke, Project 46, and Collin McLoughlin release “Collide” exclusively on Beatport via Mix Mash Records. “Collide” has garnered a large amount of early support from the likes of Hardwell, Max Vangeli, and DJ Danny Howard. Laidback Luke and Project 46’s production prowess combined with rising star Collin McLoughlin’s vocals make “Collide” a contender for the top of the Beatport charts.

Preview, Progressive House | Laidback Luke & Project 46 ft. Collin McLoughlin – Collide

We’ve heard rumblings about this track for quite some time, and just when we thought it wasn’t going to happen, Laidback Luke tweets about the forthcoming “Collide” single coming at the end of this month. What I found the most interesting? FreshNewTracks.com favorite Collin McLoughlin is featured on the track as well even though he’s not credited in the Youtube rip. If this preview is any indicator of how the final product will sound, I’d argue this track could hit #1 on Beatport. Luke, Project 46, and Collin McLoughlin, you’ve got a serious monster of a track on your hands.
