This next track is from one of my personal favorite artists, Blu. Although we don’t feature much of him here at FNT, this latest track is classic Blu supplying us some hard lines over great production from Pete Rock.

When I see ‘eSQUIRE vs OFFbeat’ I know instantly to check and hear what’s good, always humbled by the production of eSQUIRE. This particular track features enlightened girl fire vocals following an endless soaring synth.

Just as I was about to call it a night, I got this gem in my inbox. Rainfall featuring Sarah Solovay is Upper West’s newest single off the upcoming mixtape, West Side Stories and is definitely worth checking out. This track has the perfect blend of a powerful chorus, catchy production, and smooth verses.

This past weekend, we had the opportunity to check out Paper Diamond in Dallas. The show was epic to say the least, but one of the unforeseen bonuses was that we had a chance to experience a performance by Dallas native, Jay Fresh. His music features upbeat electro production coupled with a spitfire lyrical flow, and his energy on stage compliments this style.
