TheFatRat returns with a wild new single that blends funky disco and gritty electro into one seamless track. The video adds a very interesting element to the whole track, taking TheFatRat into various elements of pop culture from the “Levels” video, to “Thriller”, to Lion King, to Minecraft, Super Mario and many more. The video shows the talents of the German producer in not only music, but also in video production and editing. He has always been known for being original, and both the production and video reinforce that trend. We look forward to more TheFatRat produced videos in the future.

A 16 year old girl from New Zealand has hit the music world by storm with her hit single “Royals,” and it doesn’t seem like the hype is going to die any time soon. Yesterday, Lorde released another track, “Team,” off her upcoming album Heroine. Truthfully I’m not sure I get the hype behind this artist, nor the hit-factor behind her tracks, though I can’t deny that I am impressed by Lorde’s talent, and how fast her music has taken off. “Team” is minimalist in production, layered with thoughtful lyrics, which are sung in a Lana del Rey fashion. Events | Bingo Players Announce “Rattle & Roll” Fall North American Tour

The Bingo Players have announced a 30-date fall North American tour that will take them across the continent to cities like Miami, LA, Montreal, New York, Edmonton and many more. They will be supported by Bassjackers, Makj and Carl Tricks along the way, making this an electro heavy show from start to finish. They are bringing their own production, so expect something new from the Bingo Players. Full dates and ticket info can be found on their website here. Tickets go on sale Friday, the 13th at 10am local time.

Maddix has gotten on the radar of plenty ever since his powerful single “Touching The Sky“. He follows up with another free original, “Splash”, which shows his continued progression as a producer. Maddix goes for a heavier production this time, with a melodic build and a drop of growling synths and succession heavy, reverbed kicks. Look for more from the Dutchman in the future as he looks to become yet another success story from the small dance music powerhouse.
