Anjunabeats Volume 9 is a mix compilation of 28 new and unreleased songs from artists on Anjunabeats mixed by Above and Beyond. It is a compilation that will leave you speechless with the range of styles and mastery displayed by these artists. All 28 songs are mixed, but it is separated into 2 separate mix CDs, where the style changes somewhat. The first CD is what Anjunabeats is known for and what its fans all around the world love it for. It starts off perfectly with one of Above & Beyond’s new tracks “Tokyo” with a teasing piano lead, relaxing synth build and soft choral chants to get you into the rest of the volume. The first CD is that melodic, euphoric trance with sensitive piano leads, flowing synth melodies, easy bass, smooth violin samples and of course the occasional female vocals that we all expect from Anjunabeats. This CD includes 2 NEW releases from Above and Beyond, Oliver Smith, Andrew Bayer, Norin & Rad and others. The second CD is more of the progressive trance/house type of releases from Anjunabeats. It has several already released remixes and singles on Anjunabeats such as Arty “Kate”, Mat Zo “Frequency Flyer” and Jaytech’s “New Vibe”. This is more upbeat trance, while maintaining the structure, bass, sensitive piano leads and uplifting synth melodies that Anjunabeats is known for. CD 2 includes the much anticipated release from Mat Zo & Arty “Mozart” and new songs from Cramp, Jaytech and others. German producer, David Puentez, is quickly become one of my favorite rising talents in progressive house realm. His mastery of light feel-good production is clear from his latest release Harmonia. After dropping a preview last night, I couldn’t wait to hear the final version. Well, it definitely didn’t disappoint..this track is a certified house bomb.

R3hab and Michael Woods have delivered their remixes for Benny Benassi’s “Close To Me”. R3hab delivers his signature “chainsaw madness” as he likes to call it and absolutely kills this with an insane drop. Michael Woods delivers a more synth driven house song with good builds and great drops that get better and better. Get the remixes on Beatport HERE.

You’ve heard the preview, you’ve heard it in a few sets, and now (thanks to Fareoh) this absolute MONSTER track is available for download on FNT. Avicii fans, don’t pass this one up, it’s very reminiscent of his work (see: the 1:30 mark and on). I’m expecting big things from this young gun…

In order to prep everyone for their EP, which drops sometime in early 2012, New Linen is giving us a sneak peak at what’s to come. Making the Most is a clean acoustic/hip hop jam with a catchy chorus complimented by smooth verses. If this is a preview of whats to come, I can’t wait to hear what else New Linen has in store for us in 2012.

Since Skream first posted a preview of this track on his soundcloud, I knew I wasn’t going to be able to wait for its release. Well it is 3 months later and he finally has dropped it due to how much he is enjoying his tour right now. This track is all any electronic music lover could ask for. It has vibes of all different types, house, dubstep, and drum & bass. Glad the track is so long, means I don’t have to set it on repeat as often.
