Electronic | SNSES – ‘Cycles’ ft. Karra

Posted by on May 15, 2020

On letting go, SNSES chronicles a story of empowerment and moving on in his “Cycles” featuring Karra. The uplifting indie electronic tune is out today, Friday, May 15.

A track once sitting as a sweet demo birthed itself into the music world after just one studio session. Chalked up to synergy and skill, “Cycles” is the beautiful brainchild of SNSES, the California based creative making twinkly, inspiring sound. An ode to breaking past toxic phases of life, “Cycles” aims to encourage listeners to rise up against ultimately unhealthy relationships. Featuring a mirage of dance music and breezy pop elements, “Cycles” featuring Karra is SNSES at his best.

Albums | ALIGN Drops “Second Thoughts” via Lowly Palace

Posted by on March 9, 2020

In his first offering of 2020, Chicago-based ALIGN follows up his lush debut EP Intertwine with an effervescent new single, “Second Thoughts” ft. Becca Krueger. “Second Thoughts” is out now on Lowly Palace.

A vibrant amalgamation of ALIGN’s pop and electronic styles, “Second Thoughts” ft. Becca Krueger is a shining display of the producers’ many talents. Sumptuous synths set the stage from the get go, as Becca Krueger’s sultry smooth voice coaxes listeners into sweet serenity. A backsound riddled with luminous production and whirring melodies, ALIGN’s composition serves as a lovely testament to the producers strengths. Featuring infectious percussive elements reminiscent of ODESZA and Louis The Child, ALIGN’s newest is one to keep coming back to.

“’Second Thoughts’ is something I wrote with the intention of having an overall uplifting atmosphere and vibe. I loved where the track was going instrumentally, and felt like Becca was the missing voice the song needed. Becca’s lyrics provide a really cool balance as she’s narrating something relatable to all of us. I feel that the content of her story and the music itself meet in the middle to provide a nice degree of harmony together.” ALIGN

Let’s get one thing straight. Crankdat isn’t just a dope bass producer…he’s a dope producer in general and his latest cut proves it. The young up-and-comer from Ohio caught his first big break in 2015 with the release of his Fetty Wap “Trap Queen” remix. The remix has hauled in 40+ million plays to date on Soundcloud alone. Fast forward to present day and the studio wiz has dropped a dozen or so remixes, VIPs and re-cranks that tap into trap, breakbeat and now future bass. He effortlessly incorporates crisp vocal chops into a poppy drop and showcases his impressive knack for melodies. Check it above. Trust us, don’t sleep on Crankdat. This kid’s next.

Electro, Pop | AMERIA IS CHAINED TO YOU

If you’ve thought you have had a rough night out in the past, allow Ameria’s new music video to put that into perspective for you. Watch as a guy gets thrown out of a bar for being too drunk, and the Hungarian songstress steals a cop car, gets in a car chase, has a drug deal go wrong, and a minor shootout with the police. And if that isn’t really enough of a selling point for you, maybe her stealing a dog and tossing it in the back seat of the cop car will win you over. Maybe not? Either way, though, her lush vocals alone are enough to win anyone over. Just to be safe, let’s just say that you should not try any of this at home.
