Dubstep | Subvibe, Butch Clancy, and Bar9 | Dubstep
Posted by Mach on February 10, 2011
This may be my favorite remix of Ellie Goulding’s, to date. Her voice was made for Electro and Dubstep, I have yet to hear a bad remix of one of her songs. Subvibe’s style in this song makes me think of Skrillex.

I will admit I am a fan of 3OH!3, this is a crazy good remix. The altered chorus sounds awesome with the beat. This track is FIRE.

I feel this may be for the avid listeners. The piano is nice, but anyone who knows true dubstep knows exactly whats in store. Slow and chill, best description.

BONUS TRACK
Electro, no Dubstep…actually this style is called Darkroom. I love it when artists mix up genres because you end up with great tracks like this.

Electro, House, Mashups | Electro | Tai, Liam Keegan, Avicii, Kama Qu

Receiving support with monster tracks such as “Rocking The Set” and “Paradise Poltergeist”, TAI is steadily making a name for itself in the electro world with support from Steve Aoki, Afrojack, and Laidback Luke. Keep your ears peeled for the release of mixmash producer Gianni Marino’s remix.
Tai – Rocking the Set
Featuring amazing vocals from JLS and hype vocals from the Miami 2 Ibiza lyricist, this track is pending to explode worldwide with help from Top 40 remix specialist, Liam Keegan. Whether you love house, or something mainstream to sing along to when you’re out in fratland, this song is for you. Amazing utilization of piano buildups and typical progressive house synths morphed into something really, really special.
JLS Feat. Tinie Tempah – Eyes Wide Shut (Liam Keegan Club Mix)
Here’s a monster mashup from remix specialist Kama Qu. Utilization of a hip-hop favorite in Kanye’s “Monster” finds itself crossed with Afrojack’s recent club annihilator “Replica”. Keep your ears peeled for some interesting samples and massive drops.
A Replica Monster Mashup (Kama Qu Bootleg)
The latest from mau5trap brings us what sounds like a mind-blowing combination of deadmau5 & skrillex that has been solely responsible for a majority of my headphone induced eargasms since its release on christmas day. Don’t quote me on this, but I feel as if this is just a glimpse of what 2011 will bring us in a genre I like to refer to as “BroStep”. Add this to your iTunes and don’t be shy with the repeat button.
Feed Me & Kill The Nosie – Muscle Rollers (Original Mix)
And here is a bonus banger from Avicii, you may recognize the beat at 1:20

Electro | ELECTRO-POP | Flo-Rida ft. Akon “Who Dat Girl” Remixes
Posted by BIGLIFE on January 14, 2011
Sometimes on FNT we like to bring “older” tracks (November in this case) back into the limelight. To me, the original lacked some flare so here are a few renditions that have flipped the hit a bit. The fundamentals are there but Dr. Luke left the perfect amount of room to be filled with synths, basslines, and perhaps some other tasty sounds for good measure. James Jeffrey seemed to thoroughly enjoy covering some of those spaces in the guitar/piano/drum cover above. If you’re you’re looking for a club banger check out Deniz Koyu’s remix.

Mainstream Remix | Brenton Duvall – That’s All (Gucci Mane)
Posted by BIGLIFE on September 30, 2010
Brenton took the Hype Machine charts by storm this past summer with some incredible tracks that reached the number one position on more than one occasion. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that this talented musician creates original beats and sounds with the piano, guitar, etc i.e., this isn’t just a 1 v 1 mashup. I’m eager to see where this FNT exclusive goes…

Andrew Certilman – Where is the Dirt (Where is the love vs Dirt off your shoulders) — (4 stars)
DJ Bucket – Basshead Jiggle (Basshead vs Girls Get to Jiggling) — (4 stars) goofy but kinda sick
Dj Bucket – Dreams of Flashing Lights (Lupe Fiasco vs Kanye West) — (3.5 stars)

Here at FNT we are always trying to keep you on the cutting edge and expand your musical horizons. With that goal in mind, I have focused this techno post on trance. This more melodic, and synth-heavy form of music lends itself great to chilling or studying ( or if your like me then it could be the soundtrack to your party). Most of these tracks are lyric-less but that doesn’t stop me and it shouldn’t stop you!
These two are all out trance, no messing around here:
First State featuring Elliot Johns – Surrounds Me
Blue Spectrum – Lightspeed (Original Mix)
Smooth beat coupled with gentle lyrics
Krist Van D feat. Trish – On Tonite (Marsi Remix)
HUGE RIO Track with a smooth piano-synth over his classic reggae lyrics
R.I.O. – Hot Girl (Olav Basoski Remix)
And if your too anxious to wait out the intro:
