Dubstep | Polina, Steve Aoki, Tiesto – Tornado (Kill The Noise Remix)
Posted by Sev on September 11, 2012
We all have heard this dance anthem by Tiesto and Steve Aoki at some point in out festival escapades in the past year or so, but Kill The Noise happened to this track and by happened to it I mean spiced up and created an absolute banger! Although there is little recollection of the original in this remix; this track shows more of the soft side of KTN with its amazing piano chorded intro and emotional lead piano setting the mood up for a melodic masterpiece. This is right before Polina’s vocals kick in, changing the mood a little bit and slowly leading to the heavy growl bassed drop that brings the track to a more fun upbeat pace. This track isn’t one to pass on so grab it off Beatport HERE.
Dubstep | Audioshock – Faceless (xKore Remix)
Posted by Sev on June 11, 2012
xKore feeling generous today and giving away this free remix. Known for his heaving mashing of growl sounds, xKore delivers this amazing remix of Audioshocks “Faceless”. Using some nice piano melodies in the beginning which we aren’t used to seeing from xKore, then slowly building his way into a vicious drop. This track is not for the weak hearted, so be warned.
Dubstep | Emeli Sandé – My Kind of Love (Gemini Remix)
Posted by Sev on June 11, 2012
The amazingly talented Gemini is back at it again with another one of his famous piano-influenced, melodic dubstep remixes. Consistently producing top level remixes and originals that are sure to elevate you out of this world; this new one completes the task. Not over exhausting us with the heavy grime that so many artist proceed to convey, Gemini stays true to his own style through almost all of his tracks. The only downfall is that this is currently a UK release, but I couldn’t hold off on it. Stay tuned for info about Gemini’s album as well which is currently in the making. You can get this track on the UK iTunes HERE.
Dubstep | Adventure Club feat. Krewella – Rise & Fall + Krewella Debut EP Announced
Posted by Spice on May 31, 2012
It’s safe to say that Adventure Club has crushed it this week. First they brought us “Wait”, a track which I think we can all agree is absolutely killer, but since that apparently wasn’t enough they’ve now teamed up with the talented ladies (and gentleman) of Krewella to take us on another gripping musical journey. “Rise & Fall” starts out with a slow, melodic piano riff and floaty, plaintive vocals before abruptly changing course and slamming right into a heavy, visceral drop. They build skillfully on the early tension as the track progresses, ultimately driving the synths to a positively fierce crescendo in the song’s concluding moments. No two ways about it; this is a must download. Keep an eye out for Adventure Club this summer if you’re planning on hitting the festival circuit.

Krewella EP Announcement
Krewella has also taken time today to announce the release of their debut EP, “Play Hard.” The video above actually plays a snippet of the title track. The trio has done a lot of great work in the past and I’m sure that this EP will be just as awesome as everything we’ve seen from them to date. “Play Hard” is officially set for an exclusive Beatport release on June 18th.
Progressive House | MitiS – Life Of Sin
Posted by Mach on May 28, 2012
Two things about this track confuse me although they do not matter in reality. One being why this melodic track is named ‘Life Of Sin,’ two, how did dubstep filth MitiS decide to create a house track as beautiful as this. I am not complaining, this track is amazing. The piano work in the break almost brought tears to my eyes, and the rest of the synths added into this make this one of the best unheard house tracks of 2012…in my opinion of course. MitiS is in fact known for his insane dubstep tracks, but after listening to this I realize there is still more for me to learn from him and what artists should be known for.
Electro-House, Progressive House | The 8th Note – 4 The People (Incl Leventina Remix)
Posted by Middy on May 27, 2012
Dutch Trio, The 8th Note are back coming off of their 3 very successful collaborations with fellow compatriot Nilson. Their latest collaboration,”Transformers” supported by Morgan Page, Thomas Gold and many more is below at the end of the post. The 8th Note provide the original track with a smooth piano build with techy bass line elements. It then builds further in volume and energy into a uplifting synth melody accompanied by Gregorian style chants and a thumping bass line. As you guys know, I am very high on Leventina and their ability to blend seamlessly electro and progressive electro house during songs and among tracks in their back catalog. Thomas Gold played “We’re Gonna Start” at EDC NYC so you know things are only on the up and up for them. They get into the track from the 1st second with a complex bass driven bass line and getting the synth build with the Gregorian like chants established by The 8th Note going early. They take that piano and synth build and crescendo into a festival ready drop of rhythmic synth chords and a pounding bass line.

Progressive House | Siege – Plug & Play
Posted by Middy on May 21, 2012
Up and coming Belgian Dj Siege is back with another single “Push & Play” out now on Armada Records. “Plug & Play” is a melody driven progressive track built around a slow, high pitched piano melody with accompanying synth chords to create the full body of the melody with a steady clap driven bass line. This is another solid addition to the growing discography from the young Belgian producer. Below is a full length preview of his remix of a Elton vs Pnau – Good Morning to the Midnight. With well constructed melodies, driving synth chords and electro stabs, this one will be a must have upon its release, June 25th.
