Progressive House | Hello Beddo – Exit at Yemassee
Posted by Spice on August 22, 2013
Fans of MitiS, take note: we’ve got a great free download for you this evening from young producer Hello Beddo. “Exit at Yemassee” has a floaty, chilled-out vibe, but picks up the energy with the introduction of some anthemic synths at the drop. We are loving the piano bridge and the way the choppy vocals play against the theme. In short? This track is a melodic gem. Check out Hello Beddo’s Soundcloud for more tunes.

Dubstep | Tiesto – Take Me (Mr FijiWiji Remix)
Posted by BP on August 17, 2013

Mr FijiWiji never disappoints. His remix of Tiesto’s “Take Me” is an entry in Tiesto’s remix contest on Beatport. The winner gets his/her remix officially released on Tiesto’s Musical Freedom label and a few other prizes. So far, this version stands out against the others because Mr FijiWiji changed the whole vibe of the song. It’s ambient and soothing. The percussion is so intricate and the piano dabbled in is just gorgeous. Official voting starts September 10th, but you can stream the song and comment on Beatport already.

Trap | Grouplove – Ways To Go (Grandtheft Remix)
Posted by BP on August 10, 2013

It’s been slow in the dubstep world this week so here is some fun trap for your ears. Grandtheft’s remix of “Ways To Go” is just full of energy. From the piano chords to the vocal chopping and sampling, this song is on point. It doesn’t feature many of the “trap sounds” that we’re all used to hearing, and uses a lot of elements of the original indie track in a new way. This remix is the epitome of a summer jam, and will be hitting iTunes on August 13th. For now you can listen to the stream below!
Ambient | Yahtzel – High With Me

Where do I even begin with this song? There are so many things right with this song, it’s unbelievable. The simple melodic piano, the high pitch voice that just works, the fantastic drums, those jungle vibes towards the end of the song, the list goes on and on. Get in tune with Yahtzel and the genre that is ambient trap, it’s coming for ya. Peep this track below and like the man’s FB for the download. You’re gonna want it, trust me.
Chill, House | Robin Schulz – Waves (Bootleg)
Posted by VMan on August 1, 2013
Robin Schulz dropped a bootleg remix of German artist Mr Probz’s track “Waves” 3 months ago and it’s so sensational I had to share! Mr Probz’ soulful voice makes this record, and Schulz adds his touch by layering it with some sexy drums, some light guitar riffs and some piano chords to make it just perfect. If you’re looking to relax, and get some peace of mind, just press play, “Waves” has that summer sound to get you feeling right. Ya’ll know the drill, this is a must listen, and a must download!

Hip-Hop, Rap | Chance The Rapper – Everybody’s Somebody’s Everything (Video)
Posted by admin on July 30, 2013
What can be said about a man who has already had so much said about him? Chance the Rapper has the whole world watching his every move, judging the music, the videos, and him as a person. However, through all of this he’s managed to keep a level head, even if that is partially accredited to the drugs he takes.
“Everybody’s Somebody’s Everything” was surely a standout track on Acid Rap, with Chance singing/rapping in a brash manor, yet with a positive sentiment. And, after having his army of loyal fans get the title to trend worldwide, he unleashed the Austin Vesely produced video to accompany. The video doesn’t disappoint, and although the song is lacking the third verse from Saba which was originally on the tape, the added piano melody tacked on to the end is a good substitution.
Enjoy the video, and check out the ever-so-promoted ChanceRaps.com for everything you’ll need to know about young Chancellor.
Glitch | Haywyre – Synergy [ASPW #8]
Posted by BP on July 29, 2013

Haywyre’s single “Synergy” was released today to Monstercat and I was given the pleasure of posting it for all of your ears. This glitch track, the eighth installment of Haywyre’s “A Song Per Week” project, is precisely crafted and an intriguing listen. Starting off with some of Haywyre’s impressive piano skills, it then takes a sudden turn into exciting glitch hop. Both the first minute of calming piano and remaining three minutes of glitchy bass are fantastic.
