Mashups | The Hood Internet – Masterman (Little Dragon X Deltron 3030)
Posted by yabishcic on October 7, 2013
Almost too perfect. Little Dragon over Deltron‘s widely appreciated beats? Who woulda thought. Probably one of the better mixes I’ve heard out of The Hood Internet as of recently but they’ve always been one of my favorite mashup pairs. Take a listen.
Hip-Hop, Rap | Lucas G – EavesDrop Instrumental
Posted by yabishcic on October 5, 2013
Lucas G is a producer based out of Chicago that’s been throwing down some super dope instrumentals lately. EavesDrop is one of my favorites but most of his music is perfect for all you aspiring rappers out there. A great example of what artists can do with his productions is Valentino’s ‘Blues’, produced by Lucas G. With a perfect blend of hi-hats, bass, and incorporation of the sample, there’s no way your ears won’t fall for this instrumental.
Progressive House | Nicky Romero, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano ft. Fast Eddie – S.O.T.U.
Posted by Middy on September 30, 2013
This has been one of the hottest dance records in the world this summer and for a time people didn’t even know the proper name of the track. Everybody is playing it and it is really easy to see why. The track has the perfect blend of festival friendly energy and sophisticated power to make it right for any set. Turn this one up and jack to the sound of the underground.

Chill, Hip-Hop | Jhene Aiko – Bed Peace (ft. Childish Gambino)
Posted by admin on September 29, 2013
“Bed Peace” has been out for nearly two weeks now, but I’ll justify my lack of an earlier post with the fact that I haven’t stopped listening to this song in those two weeks. Jhene Aiko has become somewhat of a staple in hiphop over the past couple of months, hopping on hooks left and right with some of the biggest names in the game.
In this compilation, Aiko lays down two beautiful verses and a softly crooned chorus, all accompanied by a well rounded Childish Gambino verse. “Bed Peace” is your perfect wake-up-Monday-morning-and-try-to-not-hate-the-world song, so listen below and kick off your work week the right way.
Bass, Electro | Ghost Hunna – Look Out!
Posted by admin on September 24, 2013
Ghost Hunna’s Gucci is so flossy and his broads are all so bossy, the perfect combination for a spastic new song (I think). Featured on Fresh New Tracks about a month ago for the ambient-house production, “Talkin’ That“, Hunna has returned with a totally new and bass-heavy medley. “Look Out!” begins with a deep-rooted bassline, but slowly unravels out in to the ‘Spazz House’ party track that we were promised. And, although some of the components of the song can get slightly repetitive, the track is a repository of enough different sounds to keep it incredibly entertaining.
A +1 must also be award for proper integration of Zelda gameplay sounds. Ghost Hunna has slowly, but surely begun to kill the game, a realization which is hard to deny. Grab the free download below and be sure to give him a shout on Twitter!
Bootleg, Mashups | DJ Trademark – Good And Gone (Youngblood Hawke x Nicky Romero & Avicii x More)
Posted by Juicebox on April 3, 2013
So you know how after a couple releases from ze Swedish House Mafia, whenever you saw a new song from them, you knew it was going to be absolute fire? We’ll, I think it’s safe to say DJ Trademark has achieved that status when it comes to bootlegs. As usual it’s the perfect party starter, windows down kind of track…download it.
Bootleg, Electro-House, Mashups | Nicky Romero vs. Green Velvet. vs. Cosmic Gate – Analog Flash (Omnia Mashup)
Posted by Spice on February 4, 2013
A nice Monday afternoon freebie from Omnia, who has mashed up Nicky Romero’s famed remix of Green Velvet’s “Flash” with Cosmic Gate’s 2007 tech-trance classic “Analog Feel.” The kicky bassline, dark melody, and off-beat hi-hats on “Analog Feel” are a perfect counterpoint to Nicky Romero’s minimal but hard-hitting reboot of “Flash.”
It also (sort of) bears mention that I tweeted “camera’s ready, prepare to flash” for no discernible reason this morning (wasn’t even listening to the song), and now this is here. Weird. It’s like I have ESPN or something.
