House | David Guetta & Afrojack – Lunar
Posted by Middy on August 15, 2011
Hook N Sling has something crazy with this remix and are definitely rising stars. As part of the lead up to David Guetta’s new double album “Nothing but the Beat” he is releasing one song a week to promote the album. Titanium was released last week and this week we have Lunar, the massive track premiered by Afrojack at Ultra. It has a bit of a Daft Punk sound to it, while keeping both the artists signatures. If this, Bassline and Sunshine are any indication, the second CD will be amazing.

Hip-Hop | J. Cole – Nothing Like It | Hip-Hop

J. Cole flexes his lyrical muscles by laying down some bars on this track. Props to Cole for sticking to the music he enjoys and successfully creates, I feel as though too many artists have strayed from their foundations in an effort to make “club bangers”.

RnB, Videos | Ryan Leslie Making Of Zodiac x Nothing

Finally, someone releases the bonus visuals from the deluxe version of Transition. Up top, Ryan makes “Nothing” and after the jump check him making Zodiac and doing a soundcheck at Axe Lounge in Miami. I also included some of my favorite tracks from “Transition” plus a throwback. If you didn’t know, Ryan and his label recently split ways. It should be interesting to see how he fairs in the coming year. I’ve always been a huge fan, but he needs a radio hit to solidify his career.
