Often times producers don’t just have the talent of making music. They often have hobbies on the side and for Lektrique, his is skateboarding. Followers of his social media are familiar with his aptitude for tearing up the street with his gnarly moves; if you don’t follow him, you should. Not only should you for his fine tricks, but for his music. Although there are no tricks in his new video for the single “Shred,” we get a nice little story to augment the ferocious electro original. Complete with a cameo from Black Tiger Sex Machine of Kannibalen Records, this is nothing more than a playful expansion to an already fun project. Enjoy the video and head over to iTunes or whatever store you prefer for a copy.

There’s one girl in particular on the scene that’s got a ton of potential. Taylor Grey, a Stanford student, is blending pop with electronic music, a move that may bring her to the top of the music industry. She recently released a single by the name of “Never Woulda Letcha” that is accompanied by a superb music video. Directed by the MTV award winning Sarah McClogan, the music video also features the Unbroken actor Sean O’Donnell who stars alongside Taylor. We’re sure you’ll love the smooth house sound and the video is extremely well done. Check it out and get a copy of the track if you’re enjoying the poppy vibes.

MalLabel is a San Fransico based level showcasing several new releases per week, the latest being an Eko Zu release, entitled “Let Me Fall” paired with a music video, which you can find above. The music video is more of a visual accompaniment than a full-on story, but the vibe fit. The feel is trippy and enjoyable regardless, fitting the vibe of the original.
Eko Zu impresses me with their style and branding, they are a trio, with a dark theme and some members wearing mysterious masks. Not your typical solo DJ here.
“Let Me Fall” is hard not to enjoy, the beat sets a nice tone that’s easy to get into, while the vocal takes the experience to the next level.
Electronic, Hip-Hop | New Act Xia Xia Technique Drop Surprise Music Video For “Let Me Show U (How 2 Cut)”

Not much is known about this group, but Xia Xia Technique is making moves – boldly dropping a music video alongside one of their newest tracks “Let Me Show U (How 2 Cut)”, one of only two singles XXT has revealed.
“Let Me Show U (How 2 Cut)” features Psycho Flower as the MC and her guest Sakura, (though it is a 3 member group) as thet pay homage to the 90’s style acid-stained music videos. The animation found within are certainly a trip. The overall sound of “Let Me Show U (How 2 Cut)” is drastically different, which I like, the single has a modern hip-hop voice atop, but the beat is just out there, I suppose experimental electronica would be the best way to describe it, with a dash of live drums in there too.
The vibe is chill, but the voice is empowering, and drop is trippy – an overall dope fusion of experimental sides of the dance music spectrum.

It’s undeniable that this year has been a wild ride for producer/DJ Nick Martin. As a rising star from Greece, he has been busy on the road across the pond, but that hasn’t stopped him from releasing new music. Earlier this year, he gave us “Looking For Love,” and he’s quick to the draw with a new one, “Skyline” featuring Tigerlily on her first full vocal song. This song is melody-driven progressive house at it’s finest with a larger-than-life vibe and irresistible hooks from Tigerlily to complete the masterpiece. Purchase or stream “Skyline” here and watch the song’s music video as a bonus below!

Apashe is no stranger to good music. He’s announced his debut album, Copter Boy, and we’re super stoked about its September 30th release date. We were excited before, but now that his single “Fuck Boy” is out, we’re doubly so. The heavy trap single is a bit of a different style from Apashe’s usual stuff, but this is just as dope. What puts this one over the top is its NSFW music video. Short story is Apashe attends what can only be a Donald Trump rally… but this is nothing like any political rally you’ve seen before. Things get wild, clothes get taken off, and there may be a booty or two shaking in the process. “Fuck Boy” is currently available for free, if you pre-order Apashe’s LP. Once you place your order, iTunes will download a copy to your library!

The Geek x Vrv are back with the official music video for the name single off of their Origami EP, and we can’t stop watching it. The four-minute video is a stop-action type of film that follows a girl through a variety of different daily tasks that all of some sort of interesting twist to it. It’s the perfect counterpart to the track, which is a fusion of dance and breakbeat that perfectly shows off The Geek x Vrv’s signature style of production.
