Dubstep | Liquid Stranger vs. Messinian – Octagon
Posted by Sev on March 20, 2012
Liquid Stranger dropping a new monster Drumstep original with vocals from Messinian. This track came out of nowhere and surprisingly is a killer tune. Through the buildup we get some vocals from Messinian leading straight into a heavier sounding laser synth drop and some alarm sounds here and there with the occasional “Yoy” synth as well. If you are a fan of Excision’s label, Rottun Records, and would like to stay up to date with their releases, as well as get some exclusive previews and downloads be sure to subscribe to Bass Union’s youtube channel. Get Liquid Stranger’s track on Beatport HERE. Read on if you want an exclusive listen to another monster track from Liquid Stranger in collaboration with Ajapai as well as Schoolboys latest dope bootleg remix of Jay-z and Kanye West’s Why I Love You that will be up for free download tomorrow. I highly recommend checking these two tracks out as well as subscribing to this channel.
EDIT: Just as I post this another exclusive track goes up on their channel, this time from Bare.
Progressive House | Michael Brun – Rise (Dirty South Edit)
Posted by Middy on March 19, 2012
The day has arrived for Michael Brun “Rise” with a small edit from Dirty South to be released on Dirty South’s Phazing Records. As you saw with the preview, this track was going to be huge and the full version delivers. The driving bass line with varying percussive elements gives way to a easy piano motif and uplifting synth chords that create melody that will force your hands to “Rise” (see what I did there?) into the air. After the jump check out the first episode of Dirty South’s “Phazing Radio” that includes this rip below and many more new and unreleased tracks.

Dubstep | Bassnectar – Ugly (feat. Amp Live)
Posted by Spice on March 5, 2012
Your Monday afternoon just got serious. Bassnectar dropped a teaser track from his upcoming album “VAVA VOOM” (out on April 10th) just in time to save us all from the 2:30 p.m. low. “Ugly” is a relentless, head-knocking drumstep rollercoaster with insane, rapid-fire breakbeats undergirding a fresh vocal sample from Amp Live of Zion I (and, of course, plenty of that trademark heavy bass). In short, this track is a monster and you need to download it immediately. Expect to hear it in many sets now that festival season is upon us — I can’t even imagine how crowds will react when this one drops.

Oh My God….This is a crazy dance tune, literally can’t help myself from busting out to this monster. Drum & Bass has just been flooding into my music vision lately and since, tracks like this just drop in front of me and I can’t resist. If you are a DJ, you have to have this, and it needs to go in your next set. You cannot listen to this track without wanting to lose yourself in it.

Dubstep | Virtual Riot & Amba Shepherd – Superhuman
Posted by Sev on February 22, 2012
More and more young artist are emerging out of no where with these monster tracks. Add Virtual Riot to the list of 17 year old producers who are making the veterans look bad. This track is flawless on so many levels I don’t know where to begin. First off Amba Shepherd’s vocals complement this track perfectly. The build up doesn’t prepare you for what is to come, because after and during the drop is where this track really comes together. The drop isn’t too heavy to drown out the vocals but it is still grimy enough to please any dubstepper’s appetite. Although the bass and drop are a little heavy this track somehow manages to put you in a state of euphoria, because of its perfect choice of instruments and synth sounds in the melody. If this isn’t doing it for you their is also a chilled out remix which is featured on the EP and you can get it on Beatport HERE.
Dubstep, Electro | PREVIEW: Space Laves; South Central, CTLGD, and CENOB1TE
Posted by Sev on February 20, 2012
Space Laces is going become a more common name throughout 2012, already having most of his tracks featured in Datsik’s UMF mix. Be on the lookout for this guy because he has some big tunes in the making that will melt your brains. South Central just released this official remix of Nero’s Must Be The Feeling as a free download to add to the bunch. These guys have been receiving some support from Knife Party lately who have been dropping there spastic, seizure styled tracks live. You will know what im talking about once you listen to this track.
Next up we have sweet remix of John O’Callaghan Find Yourself by CTLGD who were two separate artist formerly known as Glitch Dick and Christian The Lion. A little bit of a short remix, but nevertheless they managed to get the job done with a nasty, grimey drop.
All credit on this track goes to W8. I got this monster track in my email this morning and it woke me up right away. This one has everything you could want in a dubstep remix; from vocals, to laser synths, to heavy bass.
Electro-House | Wolfgang Gartner – There and Back (Dead CΔT Bounce Remix + Ahad Vocal Bootleg)
Posted by Spice on February 11, 2012
I’ve been sitting on this one since it dropped because I was kind of ambivalent about it at first, but it just hit me today: this is actually a monster. Dead CΔT Bounce’s remix doesn’t waste any time, jumping right into the heavy, driving theme of “There and Back” before chopping the notes against some hard synths for an intense electro break. Yes, I am aware that this has been floating around the bLoGoSpHeRe for about a week or so, so if you’ve already got it I apologize. But if you don’t, here’s your chance.

Moving right along. This bootleg layers in the ethereal vocals from Kaskade/Deadmau5’s “Move For Me,” giving the original “There and Back” a little extra thrill factor. The result is pretty killer — definitely worth a listen.
