Posted by LoffyG on March 12, 2013
With only two more stops remaining on his UpToNoGoodTour, Huey Mack takes a break in NY to record an all new remix of Krewella’s “Alive” with Mike Stud. They let this one go early since the video for Huey’s first single off his upcoming project, Dirty Laundry wasn’t ready yet. That video is set to drop next week so until then spin this!
Hip-Hop, Indie, Pop, Videos | Nick Luebke – End of the Road
Posted by LoffyG on March 6, 2013
When it comes to Nick Luebke there is no doubt this past year has been big for him. From having his remix of “Call Me Maybe” go viral blasting him off into the blogosphere, to being featured on X-Factor as well as performing shows with the likes of Mike Stud and more. Now that the young Madison, WI native has finally completed college he’s reached that point in the road where he must choose whether or not to pursue his dream in music, or head into the everyday career world. This challenge he’s faced with laid the foundation for this first single, “End Of The Road” off his upcoming EP.
Hip-Hop, Videos | Mike Stud x Huey Mack – Dickhead (Prod. Jon Kilmer)
Posted by LoffyG on February 18, 2013
Professional dickheads, Mike Stud & Huey Mack are back with their latest song and video. Sampling “Dickhead” by Kate Nash, this song is awesome from the sample itself to the lyrics that fit it perfectly. My favorite part is when Huey and Mike go back and forth singing while sitting at the bar. Something I don’t believe they’ve done on a track together yet. Definitely worth the listen! Follow these guys on their Twitter accounts below and catch Huey on the Up To No Good Tour starting Thursday! Shouts to J-Kill on the sick production.
Hip-Hop | Mike Stud – Perfect for Me (Prod. Julkeyz) [Music Video]
Posted by LoffyG on February 11, 2013
I present to you the first video/single off Mike Stud’s upcoming project, which is slated for a release in the near future. It has been a minute since we’ve got an all original track from Mike and I’ve got to say I’m diggin’ it. I think that many people in our younger generation can relate to a song like this. After getting a small taste of what the project has to offer, I’m looking forward to hearing more. Shout out to Jon Kilmer for this great set of visuals. Hip-Hop, Videos | Huey Mack ft. Mike Stud – Love This Life (T.I. Remix Video #2)
Posted by LoffyG on February 10, 2013
Excuse me for this late post I’ve been on vacation the past couple of weeks, but I’m back now. About a week ago Huey released a revised version of his video for “Love This Life” featuring Mike Stud. They had to make some changes to the original due to some footage of sorority girls that didn’t get approved of. If you saw the previous version you probably noticed boxes popping up throughout the video to censor it due to this issue. Anyways, here is take #2! Oh and don’t forget to check out Huey Mack live with OCD: Moosh & Twist on their #UpToNoGoodTour, which cracks off 2/21! You can find the ticket link below!
Hip-Hop, Videos | Mike Stud – Started From The Bottom (Remix)
Posted by LoffyG on February 5, 2013
A few days back Drake released “Started From The Bottom”, a preview off his third studio album. It didn’t take long for Mike Stud to catch wind of it and have Paul Judge produce a remake of the instrumental so he could take his hand at it. I can’t take sides on which is my favorite because I dig both versions, but I definitely think Mike set the bar high on this one. There couldn’t have been a better candidate to do a remix of this song. If you never heard the original from Drake you can listen here.
Hip-Hop, Videos | Mike Stud – Little Things (Remix) (Prod. Jon Kilmer)
Posted by LoffyG on January 20, 2013
Mike Stud returns with #SundayStudDay and delivers yet another unexpected remix. He takes on a rendition of One Direction’s “Little Things“, produced by Jon Kilmer. I’m really diggin’ this one, he starts off soft covering One Direction, then drops into his verse and finishes it off with a little T-Swift. The video to accompany it is nothing less than what you would expect from the Tourings Boring crew. Be on the lookout for more of Mike Stud as he will be releasing a new project in the near future.
