In appreciation of the support he has gotten on his recent single, “You & I”, Marcus Santoro, my fourth best friend even though we’ve never actually met, has remixed Denzal Park’s “One Way Home” and is giving it away for free. You can expect either a harder, gritty track or a melodic one when it comes to Marcus’ releases and for this one he went the melodic route. Like always, the track is well crafted and has extremely high production quality.

Au5 always brings the dub. Here is some midweek bass to keep things going. Au5’s remix of “Stay” by Manufactured Superstars ft. Jarvis Church is melodic and definitely has some Au5 flavor. The drops are full of growls and the piano chords to add emotion to the powerful vocals. We can always count on Au5 to produce quality work. Norway at the moment seems to be a mine for young talent, and 18 year old Bearson is another one I can add to my radar of up and coming chill house,/deep house/melodic deep house producers who put out quality remixes! This remix of Astronomyy’s “Nothin On My Mind” is perfect fot this New Jersey rainy day, as I sit at my desk, staring outside my window with an aching knee, as it’s uplifting, warm, and mellow! Marcus Santoro, known to his friends as Marcus has returned to his home label of Neon for a collaborative original with fellow Australian MITS and vocalist Courtney Brianna. “You & I” is a melodic summertime track, according to Mr. Santoro, and so is perfect for the current Australian winter. Also included below is a superb deep house remix of the track done by Jordan Burns.

When Usher and Young Jeezy joined forces in early 2008 to make the hit hip-hop classic, “Love In This Club”, the world was blown away. The melodic components of that song were what really had us hooked, similar to how the well known Steerner and the lesser known Martell hook us with their music. Martell is not as household a name as his fellow Swedish collaborator Steerner is, but if you have been following us for a little while and needed any more proof as to why FNT is one of the top 200ish music blogs in the U.S. and parts of southern Canada, we had been covering Martell for some time now, so you should be familiar. Big melodies and powerful drops are what these guys are known for and that is what this song consists of.

Dabin dropped this sweet track earlier today called “Demons Feat. Gia Margaret” and it’s definitely worth a listen if you’re a melodic dubstep type of person. Although it seems like this genre is going out of style, I’ll always be a fan. Dabin features Gia’s vocals beautifully, and they carry the melody with grace. Synth stabs and mechanical noises are dabbled in the drops to give it that distinct dubstep vibe. This track is a classic, and it’s out for free! Grab it on Facebook.

Los Angeles based duo known as Lost Kings, has been making some noise lately with their remixes and this one really caught our ears. There rendition of Best Friend by Foster The People is melodic, powerful and it’s perfect for the Summer. The vocals blends perfectly with Lost Kings progressive sound to really make an amazing progressive track.
