Time after time after time, Trademark has proven that he truly is the mashup king. With his last release putting up a monster half a million plays in just one month (check it here), he is back with an amazing summer/fall anthem. I don’t know if this original vocal is “country” or what, but I love it.

I’ve been a fan of SomeKindaWonderful since their debut single, “Reverse,” off of their first studio album, SomeKindaWonderful. The Cleveland-based rock band has been on a steady rise to stardom, as their unique fusion of electronic music with live elements of a rock band is hard to find in dance music. Today, they’ve teamed up with fellow electronic rockers, Ratatat, for a mashup of their unreleased track, “The Problematics,” with Ratatat’s new single, “Cream on Chrome” that will blow you away. Ratatat’s electro-rock production provides the perfect canvas for vocalist Jordy Towers’ alluring croons. Plain and simple, this track is some kinda wonderful. Native California band Night Riots provide the unlikely vocals for this EDM mash, with DOSVEC again showing that music has no boundaries, and genres as different as Rock and Dance can come together to create a tune that appeals to all.
Night Riots fans might find themselves captivated by the growing reach of Dance music in the United States, while Dance fans might find themselves crossing over to the growing legacy of Rock music.
