If you didn’t already know, Huey Mack is on his first headlining tour. He made a stop by Minnesota so we met up to kick it and shoot another interview. We also called up Mod Sun to meet Huey for the first time, although they’ve been on a track together. After the show we took the party to Mod Sun’s home studio where Huey recorded a verse on an awesome Riff Raff/Mod Sun track. This video includes the “Uncovered” interview along with a short recap of that night.

Last week I had the opportunity to sit down with Sammy Adams for an “On The Spot” Interview while he was doing a show in Minneapolis, MN. I go beyond the average interview questions you would expect to hear in an interview. We talk about a variety of topics from what wakes him up in the morning to the best date spot in Massachusetts. The interview aside, the show was awesome and he performed some unreleased music. One song being “All Night Longer” which he recently filmed a video for that’s going to be released in the near future! If you haven’t already grabbed “Only One” on iTunes you can buy that here!

As many of you know Radical Something just recently finished off the No Sweat Spring Tour. I was fortunate enough to kick it with the guys for a couple days during their stop in Minneapolis, MN where we filmed this exclusive interview. I talked with the guys about a ton of stuff from how they got the Radical name to the craziest thing a Rad Fan has done. Check out the interview and don’t forget Radical Something is dropping a new song every Monday for the next 10 weeks! If you missed the first two releases you can get those here!

I caught up with Hoodie Allen in Minneapolis, MN and took a few minutes to give him my “On The Spot” interview. Hoodie was definitely a good match for this style, all his answers were thoughtful and more than a simple yes or no. Aside from the interview, the show was amazing and I was surprised at how many people came out. If it wasn’t sold-out it was definitely very close. He puts on a awesome performance and has a band with him to rock out. I thought it was cool that he covered multiple popular radio hits that everyone knew the words to. That way if your friend had you come along and familiar with much of his music, you could still sing along. The remainder of this tour in the US is sold-out, but for those in the UK and Ireland you can still get tickets here.

Cam Meekins releases a new track exclusively with FNT that’s a spinoff of Purity Ring’s “Odebear”. I dig the way Cam went in on this one. He has grown so much as an artist since his days of Dancing With The Stars. I was also able to get Cam on the line for my “On The Spot” interview. We talk a ton of different topics such as 3D movies, his longest road trip, who makes the best french fries, the free album and more. We are only 2 weeks away from the release of :) :/ :( so be on the lookout for that here when it drops!

I recently had the opportunity to interview Kid Ink while he was performing in Minneapolis, MN. I hit him with my “On The Spot” interview to see what kind of responses I would get. If you aren’t familiar with Kid Ink I added one of his music videos after the jump. You can also download two of his recent mixtapes below. He has an upcoming album in the works titled Up And Away, dropping June 12th. A big thank you to Kid Ink for taking out the time for the interview and EXP Promotions for making it possible!

I recently caught up with Huey Mack in Minneapolis while he was doing a show with Mike Stud. I came up with a list of random questions to throw at him to see what kind of responses I would get in return. This was only a couple days before the release of his new mixtape A Boy Named Hue, which was released on 4/23.If you still haven’t heard the tape, I highly recommend it. There are songs that are fit for any occasion including features from Scolla, Mike Stud, Mod Sun and more. You can preview the tape after the jump or download below!
