Progressive House | John Dahlback – Life
Posted by Middy on February 28, 2012

John Dahlback has found his 2012 anthem with this progressive house masterpiece “Life”. Tabbed as the essential new tune by Pete Tong a few Slot Games ago, this song is ready to destroy clubs and festivals worldwide. With uplifting synth riffs and an explosive bass line in the drop, this song is certain to be an anthem for the beginning of 2012 from the vastly underrated Swedish Producer / Dj.

Electro-House | Felix Cartal – Domo (Pierce Fulton Remix)
Posted by Middy on February 21, 2012
Pierce is having a massive start to the year with his single “Who Wants Spaghetti” charting well on Beatport and getting support by many in the industry, being added to Friday of Ultra Music Festival in the phase two announcement, as well as this fantastic remix of Felix Cartal’s “Domo” out on Dim Mak Records. The build is great with a smooth piano melody that leads into a break comprised of a fast bass line with a variety of percussive elements and rising synths. IF you are going to be at UMF do not miss Pierce and do not miss this remix.

Coyote Kisses are back with a free remix of Gotye’s hit single “Somebody That I Used To Know” and their first release on Beatport. This remix is incredible with its complex bass line and intricate percussive elements, pitched and electro synths and excellent use of the very recognizable vocals from Gotye. The Beatport EP is comprised of “Acid Wolfpack”, a song many of you probably already have, and a slower electro house song with some nu disco elements and a great keytar melody. Progressive House, Videos | Laidback Luke, Arno Cost & Norman Doray – Trilogy
Posted by Middy on February 20, 2012
After being first revealed at Tomorrowland last year, “Trilogy” has finally arrived from the Dutch superstar Laidback Luke and two up and coming French artists, Norman Doray and Arno Cost. The combination may not seem like the most likely, but the outcome is what matters. All three on them are on the vocals, which are integral in developing the evolving bass line of the song. With its rising synths and driving synth melody, this is a club hit you don’t want to miss.

Progressive House | Axwell & Sebastian Ingrosso feat. Michael Feiner – Together (Thand Remix)
Posted by Middy on February 17, 2012
Swedish Dj / producer, Thand, absolutely demolishes this remix of the anthem “Together” from two of his biggest inspirations as Djs; Axwell & Sebastian Ingrosso. The song starts with some smooth electro house and then crescendos into a well crafted break of driving synths and a pounding bass line. The vocals are perfectly used in this song that is simply outstanding from one drop to the next.
Dubstep | Nero – Syndicate Theme

This game is imagined to be one of the hottest of the year. The game is set to release February 21st and has quite the line up on its soundtrack. We have already posted up the version from Flux Pavilion and Skrillex, now Nero’s version has dropped. Nero’s version may not be the craziest when it comes to dubstep, but it sure as hell is the best so far. The track has an epic intro, building with Nero’s signature orchestra of string. At about 1:50 the track drops into one of the sweetest melodic drops I have heard from Nero.
Progressive House | Gotye – Somebody That I Used To Know (dBerrie Remix)
Posted by Middy on February 2, 2012
New York native dBerrie is back with this big remix of Gotye’s “Sombody That I Used To Know”. He incorporates the vocals very well with a pounding bass line and driving, melodic synth chords. The drop sounds a bit like Alesso’s remix of “Pressure”, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. Get this song and check out dBerrie on Facebook, Twitter & Soundcloud.
