Ravell’s influence in the electronic dance music scene is vast. He has captivated audiences at prestigious venues like Coachella’s Sahara Tent, XS Nightclub, Encore Beach Club, EDC Las Vegas, and Beyond Wonderland. His tracks have amassed millions of streams on Spotify, with hits such as “Get Away” and “That Body” receiving backing from prominent figures like Kaskade, Martin Garrix, Tiesto, and Galantis. One standout moment in his career was performing to a crowd of 20,000 at the enormous Convention Center in Los Angeles.
Ravell’s roots trace back to Los Angeles, where his enthusiasm for house music and energetic electronic began. In his early days, he played local clubs, dedicating himself to developing a sound that merges catchy rhythms with a driving pulse. This period of experimentation and growth was crucial in shaping his distinctive style.
Released on his own label Kazaa, “Like That” delivers a dark, enticing atmosphere with a fusion of tech house and bass house sounds. Light feminine chants introduce an exotic flair, creating a track that’s both gripping and immersive, leaving listeners wanting more.

By now there’s probably not a single person out there that isn’t familiar with Ariana Grande and Zedds “Break Free”. It was one of those songs that just blows up. Unfortunately you start hearing songs like that everywhere until…R.I.P played to death. While most of these departed tracks slowly fade to the back of the playlist, once in a while one is given a second chance. That is exactly what we are hearing happen here with Kap Slap’s revitalizing edit on the track. This New York City based producer did a lot more than just bringing it back to life though. With a new powerful house beat throughout the song you’re sure to be moving right up until the massive drop Kap Slap added late in the track. If you haven’t heard this one yet do yourself a favor, check it out, and make some room on your weekend playlist because the download is available for free below.

Trap | Start Your Weekend With Pusher’s Flip of “Lean On”

It seems like ever since “Lean On” was released there has been a steady stream of remixes popping up on Soundcloud, and unfortunately when you remix a track like that you better know what you’re doing. Too often a producer will attempt to put their spin on a really popular song and it falls way to short of the original. Thankfully, we need not worry about that here, because Pusher has got us covered with his flip of “Lean On.” It’s everything you love from the original with just enough of Pusher’s touch to give the track a heavier trap feel without sacrificing any of the chill vibe. Give this one a listen and you won’t be disappointed.

Girl Fire | Sophia Grace – Best Friends
Posted by BIGLIFE on January 8, 2015
Many moons ago, we struggled to find a name for songs we knew girls would like that we were willing to post. You know, those candy-coated pop songs that are undeniable top 40 smashes. Simply labeling them “fire” didn’t seem to do them justice. Thus, “girl fire” was born, which was a term that now-retired blogger BIG LIFE coined. Sophia Grace’s “Best Friends” single, which was premiered by Ryan Seacrest, is undoubtedly “girl fire” and we can’t get enough of it. Sure, she’s 11 and rapping about running the town and turning down boys but it doesn’t matter. This is hot fire and I can’t get enough!
House | Mr. Belt & Wezol – Shiver (Original Mix)

Spinning Records, home of every big room progressive house banger that you hate, can sometimes release gems. First “Untrue” now “Shiver”. I can’t hate on Spinnin’, because they have a bottom line to keep, and big room sells. Spinnin’ is smart, as they see the people (especially bloggers) are growing tired of the big room trend. People are looking for subtler sounds, and Spinnin delivers, as this effort from Mr. Belt and Wezol is nothing short of impressive. This future house banger will have you on the dance floor in no time. You like that? You feeling that? That was hot. I like that one.

Mix, Trap | Jesse Slayter – The Future FM Mix
Posted by Middy on April 22, 2014
Louisiana native and LSU student, Jesse Slayter is not just a normal college student. While his peers were heading down to Buku Music & Arts Festival to see acts like Nas, Zedd, Kaskade and Chance The Rapper, he was also heading down for a totally different reason, to perform. His discography already reads like that of a seasoned vet and the artists who have supported him (Skrillex, Diplo, Valentino Khan, UZ, etc) make most of his peers envious. He recently dropped an exquisitely crafted mix that is some mid-tempo magic, switching between trap, sensual rnb influenced beats, and some moombah madness. He packs in a whole bunch of unreleased tunes, including his upcoming collab with Wuki.
