Gryffin’s debut original, “Heading Home,” has been one of the biggest tracks of 2016. It has not only dominated the dance music world, but it has also received significant radio airtime on its way to becoming one of the most recognized songs of the year. Now, “Heading Home” is getting a makeover by seven of dance music’s best up-and-comers like Feki, Le Youth, Love Thy Brother, Nick Talos, Justin Caruso, Imagined Herbal Flows, and POOLCLVB. Since its inception three years ago, TomorrowWorld has quickly become one of America’s best electronic dance music festivals, as it welcomes over 200 artists spread across eight stages for three days of amazing music, in addition to priding themselves on their jaw-dropping stage designs. This year, with brand new additions like Breakfast Beats in DreamVille, a host of new stage curators, and perhaps its most impressive lineup yet, TomorrowWorld is gearing up for its biggest and best festival to date – and we can’t wait to see the festival in its full glory. Each day of the festival features a different slew of stage curators, ensuring that the musical programming will never be stale, and the first day of the festival will feature a Smash The House stage, Ferry Corsten’s Full On stage, the “It’s A Trap” stage, Adam Beyer’s “Drumcode” stage, The Magician’s “Potion” stage, and the Huh What & Where stage. The Enigmatic NYC producer Le Youth pairs a glitzy visual -complete with 90s glam models- with his ‘Dance With Me’ single. The tune is focused around a disparaging sample from “No Scrubs” by the legendary R&B group TLC. What’s interesting about this tune is that the sample got chopped up and flipped into an inviting message void of all hater-ish vibes. No money? No problems, lets dance. Still living with the rents? Don’t pay your child support? Forget all that mess, get out on the dance floor and bring it! Dominique Young swoops in at the end and sows it all up with her up-dated version of a Left-Eye verse.
