LA native, Azad Right, takes a moment to reflect on the hatred and misfortune that he and his community have experienced in the recent months. While the majority of hip-hop you probably hear is warm and often even diluted, Azad ensure’s the field that he’s here to offer introspective rhymes fed from the world around him. “Bad Energy” was initially slated to be the outro to his upcoming project, For The Hopeful, but unable to hold this one back, Azad chose to let his fans have an unexpected gift.

The beatsmith formally known as Sean Kongery is back. This time, the LA up and comer teams up with fellow Cali-vocalist Elias to create a smooth, soothing -I have just coined the word smoothing as an adjective for this song- ballad. In-house video team, Lake Effect Films, has yet again out done himself and absolutely blows me away with the story he managed to create behind the song.
Sean is soon to be at the key player in pop production, so it’ll be exciting to see the future singles as well as placements he’ll be getting these next couple months. For the time being, enjoy the song and video!
Also, the sampling of “Mr. Sandman” in the first few seconds of the visual is a fantastic touch.

This has certainly been a breakout year for LA based producer Paris Blohm and after a few months wait, he is now back with another free original. Instead of taking the darker, hard hitting route that most of his songs tend to go, he has chosen to show his more harmonic and cheerful style in a rather short but fun instrumental. Like his most popular song “Presence”, this too is dedicated to his lost sister Chloe.

The Bingo Players have announced a 30-date fall North American tour that will take them across the continent to cities like Miami, LA, Montreal, New York, Edmonton and many more. They will be supported by Bassjackers, Makj and Carl Tricks along the way, making this an electro heavy show from start to finish. They are bringing their own production, so expect something new from the Bingo Players. Full dates and ticket info can be found on their website here. With the announcement of a fall tour across the US, the excitement has reached a fever pitch over what to expect from Pryda with EPIC 2.0. The trailer was scintillating and displaying stunning visuals that we hope to see on the tour. He has only announced 4 dates thus far in 3 cities, which you can see below.
