Posted by on February 19, 2019

What a collaboration we’ve got here! Kill Paris enlists Tim Moyo & Kuda for their new 3-way-tune “Inside Out” and it is an absolute bop. Calling it one of his favorite things he’s ever created, the future bass jam is fueled by sexy synthesizers and an overall good vibe to it. MONSTERCAT is total top notch releases, every single time, and this one is up to par.

Coming hot out of Philly, rising star Louis Futon developed quite the reputation and fan base amongst future bass fans. His distinct mixture of hip-hop, bass, melodic dubstep, and trap has evolved a sound that carves a niche for the producer in a crowded space. To take his career to the next level, Futon has released his self-titled EP for free download, although it will be uploaded to iTunes, Spotify, and Beatport on February 2nd. The aspiring producer already unveiled two singles, “Sir Rock” and “DRNUK,” but adds two new originals, “Silk” and “Take Off,” as well as remixes by Kill Paris, Tijani, and Kasbo. With so many tracks to choose from, fans will sure find one if not all the tracks that they can jam out to. Download the full EP at LouisFutonBeats.com.

Here it is – the much awaited new EP from FEM and Soundbender. The bass heavy EP features some appearances from Kurupt and even Riff Raff. Far East Movement’s Kev Nish says, “We’ve always been huge Dogg Pound and Kurupt fans and had the chance to meet Kurupt when we worked with Snoop. We thought how sick it would be to do something crazy reppin’ the West with Kurupt and here it is.” Far East Movement are currently featured on the #1 US iTunes Dance Album Dance (RED) Save Lives, Vol. 2 on their Kill Paris collaboration “There Will Be No Rain.” EDMsauce.com called the track “incredible” and Earmilk.com said it is “absolutely stunning.” Murder Was The Bass continues Far East Movement dive into production following their Remix EP of the group’s current single “The Illest.” Early this year, they released GRZZLY, a free mixtape for fans that featured a collection of song remixes along with a few new tracks.

The homie ScrewloopZ posted this on his Facebook today, out of curiosity I checked it out and I’m very glad I did. I’ve literally been praying for a track that would blow me away, as there’s nothing more enjoyably then discovering a great tune from someone who’s not getting the attention they deserve and “Mile High” does it for me. This is a great tune from the producer based out of Denver, who’s been doing his thing, opening for DJs of the such Borgore, Kill Paris, Hyper Crush, and more, slowly gathering a following, and doing what he should be doing: perfecting his sound. Congrats ScrewloopZ I believe “Mile High” might take flight for you! This is a must listen and a must download!

Electronic | Kill Paris – Falling In Love Again (Feat. Marty Rod & Alma)

Posted by on July 9, 2013

I know it’s probably still light out depending on your time zone, so consider this late night jam your little afternoon delight. Marty Rod and Alma’s vocals are sweet as honey, alluding to an intimate love scene in the back hallway of night club. Then, the duo trigger the drop with their harmonious line, Falling in love again, just like it is in real life. Or so I’m guessing.

Give yourself a chance to fall in love and save up your pennies to catch Kill Paris (and many more!) on the OWSLA stage this September at Tomorrow World.

Electro | Rudimental – Feel The Love (Kill Paris Remix)

Kill Paris makes straight up baby making music. There is no way around it. He may be the Barry White of EDM — if Barry White was small, white and took slightly creepy pictures in sunflower fields, but I digress. Kill Paris’ combinination of funk, soul, grit and electro makes his sound ideal for what Rudimental brings to the table for what was one my favorite tracks in 2012 and one of the biggest dnb tracks of the year commercially. The remix keeps John Newman’s soulful vocals and lets Kill Paris work his magic, giving it the unique flavor of gritty undercurrents and playful piano motifs that create almost an entirely new track.

Ultra always brings some of the best sets from the biggest Djs with a whole host premiers on every stage. Here are the best sets from weekend one that will get you through the week to the second weekend. If you have any requests for more sets, put them in the comments. There were a lot of incomplete sets like Above & Beyond and Tiesto that I did not include, so if you want them just say so, but they are only about 20-30 minutes. Below is Hardwell’s outstanding mainstage set that includes 10 brand new tracks from himself & his label. The rest are after the jump.
