Hip-Hop, Rap, Videos | Wiz Khalifa | DayToday | Australia | Episode 3
Posted by yabishcic on February 8, 2014
Though some have criticized Wiz Khalifa for being repetitive with his lyricism and unprogressive with his albums, he has still found a way to become one of the biggest, most recognizable artists in the world. His ‘DayToday’ show series, which gives you a look in on Wiz’s everyday activities, allows fans to feel more connected with the artist and his music while he still gets to goof off and have shit tons of fun. In this third episode of the Australian tour, Taylor Gang leaves smoke trails all over the coast, and even A$AP Rocky can’t resist asking Wiz for a little bit to chill out after a show. With more scenes and more footage this time around, there’s plenty of new material to enjoy with lots of funny moments along the way.
Hip-Hop | Ludacris – Party Girls ft. Wiz Khalifa, Jeremih, & Cashmere Cat

Interesting to say the least, but this song is a guaranteed banger. Flipping the “barbie girl” theme that Miguel sings with Cashmere Cat’s production on this song works perfectly. A pretty good intro verse by Ludacris as well as a quality verse from Wiz make this song a must listen. Peep it below.

I’ve been stranded on campus for four days now, do you care? No, but I’m going insane and none of the international students left on campus will talk to me. I tried and I have received no acceptance. I am imagining I am doing what Khalifa is rapping about during the hook. Using my imagination that I’m not stuck in this creepy square white room. Using my imagination this dining hall food that I snuck out tastes good. It’s not working, but I’m still enjoying the song. Whatever.

Above are the visuals to the Choppa Choppa Down Remix. I’ve got to be honest, I’m not wild about this track – it lacks the catchy quality that most Rick Ross and Khalifa songs possess (especially their most recent mainstream projects). However, I rarely pass on the visuals to these artists tracks. Rick Ross doesn’t do much for me here (especially since he needs to upgrade his Florida house already in light of his massive success over the last year) but Khalifa seems to save the day here. I’ve thrown in some other HIp-Hop tracks below that Cstan missed (or most likely skipped) but since they include names like Meek Mill and Gorilla Zoe, I had to post them up.

The official visuals to Wiz Khalifa’s “Roll Up” dropped the other day and while they’re somewhat simple – single scene, single girl, single theme, etc – they effectively convey the “positivety” that the Taylor Gang crew embraces and pushes. I’m not sure how I feel about the hairdo but I guess its a unique way of repping his hometown colors? Be on the lookout for the March 29th release of Khalifa’s album “Rolling Papers”. Support the artist by grabbing “Roll Up” on iTunes here.
Wiz doesn’t have a significant role in this track but it gives you a taste of what he’d be like in an RnB-ish songs.

Here’s the CDQ version of this heater – it’s 10 seconds shorter than the other version so I’m guessing it is indeed the final release

Snoop dog’s resurgence in the game seems to be directly correlated to Wiz Khalifa’s rise to fame. In fact many people call Khalifa the 80’s babies answer to Snoop, which I completely agree with. They’re bringing back the smokers music, lets just hope Atlantic doesn’t hault the progress…
