Chill | Dabin Brings The Feels With His Memorable Pyres EP

Posted by on March 30, 2018

Dabin has long been a producer that has pushed the boundaries of sound. He’s shifted his focus over the years and settled in on his own signature style that’s caught the eyes and ears of esteemed talents such as Illenium, who has taken Dabin on tour and continues to work alongside him. I’ve been waiting for another big project from Dabin and today it came in the form of his Pyres EP. Complete with two tracks, Dabin’s iconic style is displayed in full. Each track is equally as powerful, but share a slight difference in tone. This is the EP you need for the weekend. He brought all the feels on it!

Bass, Dubstep | Black Tiger Sex Machine’s LP New Worlds Extends Beyond Music

Posted by on March 8, 2018

When people release albums, they tend to be a simple collection of records that they’ve been working on over the course of a set period of time. With Black Tiger Sex Machine, that’s sort of the case, but the Kannibalen Records trio do more than just create a solid album with New Worlds. With this project the group built a section of their own universe, full of tales and adventures that live through the each single. The New Worlds concept album shows just what can be done with bass music – it almost feels like a sci-fi score rather than an “EDM” album. Leave it to BTSM to do something this incredible. Check out the album and make sure to check them out on their Ceremony tour that just started if they make a stop near you!

Bass, Hip-Hop | Apashe Releases Historic Requiem EP Inspired By Mozart

Posted by on February 23, 2018

Apashe has long been known for his hybrid sound, but now he’s upped the ante. His historic Requiem EP just dropped today on Kannibalen Records with three tracks that are literally unlike anything I’ve heard before. What would you think if someone said they made an EP of classical mixed with hip-hop and trap? You’d probably laugh, but once you listen to this project there’s no laughter, just awe-struck silence. It’s the beginning of the year and a lot of lists have been coming out about what producers are going to have the biggest years… Apashe should be at the top of the list.

Bass | Black Tiger Sex Machine Take Another Step Towards Their LP With “Zombie”

Posted by on February 1, 2018

Black Tiger Sex Machine have us on the edge of our seats. Their second album is set for release on March 2nd through their label Kannibalen Records, but we’ve been hearing singles here and there, including their latest official release. “Zombie” featuring the emcee Panther will be on their album, New Worlds, but we get it in full early. The heavy electro original is just what you want to hear from these guys. It hits like few of their other tracks, which is impressive given their catalog. Check out the single today and make sure to pre-order the LP on iTunes to get a copy of this one!

Electro | Kannibalen Records Starts 2018 Off With “Laidback” by Lektrique

Posted by on January 24, 2018

Kannibalen Records has been steadily growing over the years and it’s looking like 2018 is going to be their biggest yet. They’re starting off the year with their first release, a new jam from their Belgian producer Lektrique who some may know as the host of Kannibalen Radio. “Laidback” has a retro feel to it despite the futuristic basslines that Lektrique has come to be known for. The blending of the old with new has been done before, but few can pull it off as good as Lektrique does. If you get a chance, make sure to check him out live on the BTSM Ceremony Tour this year.

Bass | Apashe Blast Back With Dope D.O.D On “Supernova”

Posted by on December 6, 2017

Apashe is one of those creators that is likely your favorite producer’s favorite producer. His talent when it comes to songwriting and production is off the charts, which is evident in all his work, including his latest with Dope D.O.D. on “Supernova.” This original single was released today on Kannibalen Records and shares a distinct sound that brings dubstep, trap and hip-hip together under one roof. Apashe is about to be taking over Australia and New Zealand on tour where he’ll surely play this one out, but look for him to make his way around elsewhere come 2018! You best believe we’ll be in line to hear this and all his other great works.

Electro-House, House | Lektrique Goes 80’s Retro With Vibrant New EP

Posted by on December 1, 2017

Lektrique has had an amazing 2017. The Belgian producer toured the US for the first time and has grown Kannibalen Radio as one of the best tastemaking music podcasts on the web. Not to mention he’s released some incredible tunes, including his latest project that features two 80’s inspired hits. TURBO sees Lektrique bring his electro sound with new flash and flare, while NEON sees him breaking genre bounds and slowing down the BPMs from TURBO. Together these two tracks are magnificent, lending themselves to be easily synced for a major Hollywood sci-fi. Don’t be surprised if that ends up happening!
