The South African producer Haezer has a lot going on right now. He’s just released an EP through Kannibalen Records, he’s announcing his European tour, and he’s just purchased a club in Cape Town that has already seen DJs like Skrillex and Habstrakt. Black Tiger Sex Machine’s highly anticipated debut album is finally here. Welcome To Our Church is an epic collection of tracks that goes beyond just music. Together, they portray the post-apocalyptic universe that the Kannibalen mythos finds itself within. Don’t expect this to be the only tales that come out of the Kannibalen Records camp depicting their legends through music. Twelve tracks, including an intro and outro are what make up this massive album, with collaborations from nearly all the KanniFam, including Apashe, Dabin, Kai Wachi, Lektrique and Karluv Klub. Whether you’re a fan of dubstep, electro, or even techno, BTSM have you covered with this project. Welcome To Our Church starts off strong, but just keeps getting better as you move towards the end. This LP is a must have, and iTunes has you covered. Last thing to note, get ready for a music video in the coming months for one of the tracks!

Electro-House, Hip-Hop, House, Rap | Haezer Delivers Underground Crossover Anthem With “You Feel Me”

South Africa has some great artists coming out of its cities, but Haezer is someone who is really holding it down in the electronic scene. His techno/electro crossovers are some of the most solid underground club tracks that dance music has seen in a while. His newest fits more the electro style, but he enlists emcee Born I to turn things up with a hot verse that adds a whole other dimension to the track. For all the industry people who wear “all black everything” this song is made for you. Rap and dance music have been steadily put together more and more over the past year, but Haezer and Born I have just set a high bar for anything coming out in the future. Because of its unique and surprisingly catchy sound, this one is well worth its purchase price.

Bass, Dubstep | Dabin Stuns With His New EP & Tour Announcement

Dabin continues his hot streak with another Kannibalen Release, this time an EP entitled Hold / She Was. This three track project is fit with two originals, including a feature with long time collaborator Daniela Andrade. Their work on “Hold” is a magical venture into an anthemic future style. Coming second is a harder original that is stacked with more bass. “She Was” still has that soft tone that Dabin has been continuously shaping over the year. If two originals weren’t enough for you, Stolensnares dished out a future bass remix of “Hold” that adds a nice concluding touch to the EP. Dabin will be embarking on a huge tour in 2016 with label mates Black Tiger Sex Machine and Apashe that will take them all over North America. Dates and information can be found here. If they go anywhere near you, make sure you make it! These three together are an experience like none other.

I think it’s safe to say electro is making a comeback. Cyberpunkers and Far Too Loud are helping in large part, and so is Kannibalen Records, who just today released a single from the two aforementioned artists. “Ready To Blast” is an electrifying creation that you’re likely to hear at all the upcoming winter festivals. It’s got the energy and hype that can be found in numerous anthemic records. Each artist’s flavors can be tasted in this boisterous production that isn’t for the faint of heart. Both drops are absolutely killer, but each hit a bit different. Suffice to say, you’ll be raging throughout the entire song from start to finish. If you are “Ready To Blast,” then head over to iTunes below and get the single for yourself. It’s definitely worth it.

Electro, Electro-House, House, Trap | Apashe Leads The Fight Against Generic EDM With Tank Girls EP

Pretty much since Apashe started making music he’s managed to create unique records. He’s continued to do so via Kannibalen Records, who released his latest EP Tank Girls, a two track project that shows off the producer’s diversity. The title track, a collaboration with the vocalist Zitaa, kicks things off with a bang. Apashe blasts us with ferociously seductive basslines atop a four-to-the-floor kick pattern, something that we don’t hear from Apashe too often. Safe to say, he nails it. “Commander” comes next with the help of Panther, a long time Kannibalen collaborator. He switches the sound to a more trap style, playing off Panther’s fiery rhymes. After the climax, Apashe drops listeners into a firing range they have to dance to survive in. “Commander” is unlike anything you’ve heard before.
