It’s been a minute since FNT resident DJ, JurisDoc, blessed us with a holy water to dip our ears in, but he’s resurrecting his presence with one gigantic new mix. In normal fashion, JurisDoc blends together many of FNT’s favorites in house, electro, pop, and more for a solid 53 minute mix that has the capability of knocking your shorts down to your ankles. Go ahead and take this dose of Doc’s prescription because it would be foolish to say this isn’t one of JurisDoc’s best set’s to date.

DJ-Set, Progressive House, Trance | Arty – Together We Are Ep #001 + Preview

Arty premiered his new weekly radio show on Saturday nights from 1am to 2am this past weekend and it may be early to say, but it looks like it could be one of the better weekly radio shows out there, or will quickly develop into one of them. The mix is better than most radio shows we are seeing from artists these days because not only does it keep the needless chatting down to a minimum and give us the most music possible, but it also has a different track list from the recycled track lists in mix shows we are seeing from prominent DJs. He plays a mixture of new and “old” tracks including upcoming tracks from Inpetto out July 2nd on Doorn Records and Redlight – Lost In Your Love, that have the chance to become very popular. The songs are just as good as your Beatport top 40, but they are just less known, showing that Arty not only is an incredible producer, but also has great taste and skill as a finder of quality music. Another indicator of the success of this radio show is the best pick in Rudimental’s DNB anthem “Feel The Love” that has been massively supported though it has not been released in the States, showing the completeness of the show. Another piece of big news coming out of Arty’s camp this week is that the ID (above) he premiered on New Years is going to be called “Together We Are” and will be released this summer. This song is incredible and will be one of the progressive anthem’s for the summer if it is released in time to get some serious festival work.

One of my goals this week is to bring back FNT’s DJ mixes! What’s better than letting someone else find, mix, and master all of the biggest jams surfing the blogwaves and combine them into one hour of sonic bliss? Nothing, thats what. So after dropping TeeTs, Crushing Life Volume I on Monday, I think its about time to lay another huge mix on the FNT Nation. So kickback and let our very own DJ JurisDoc, bump those speakers, earbuds, headphones, or whatever else you kids are bumping with these days (better not be laptop speakers, cause only a fool would dare bump EDM on those).

Lost in all of the WMC and UMF madness was the fact that Alesso was featured on BBC Radio One’s legendary Essential Mix show. Alesso really makes the most of these 2 hours flawlessly transitioning from one song to the next making the 2 hours fly by. You will hear the best of from the past couple months including “Trio“, “In My Mind” and “Rise“, as well as the best songs he has put out in his career. He puts together some really good bootlegs, combining the old and the new. He plays a whole host of unreleased tracks from himself and others including Avicii – Silhouettes (could it be a sign of a release at some point this year?) and the electro bomb “Boss” from Jonas Torn on Le7els. He plays his collaboration with Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso “Eclipse (Why Am I Doing This)“, the radio world premier of the vocal mix of his upcoming single “Years”, Alesso’s remix of Keane – Silence By the Night that he has been raving about and a brand new ID from Alesso that is really something special (as seen above, ignore the “ID3” title, it is just an ID). This Essential Mix rivals Arty’s for early contenders as Essential Mixes of the year, so hit play and let Alesso take on a two hour EDM journey. Tracklist after the jump.

This is fire. 58 minutes and 53 seconds of fire. Lots of classics in here along with Michael’s usual bag of killer mashups and edits and even a highly anticipated ID track! From holding a top 20 progressive spot on Beatport for his track “Rise” to playing alongside the likes of Norman Dooray and LA Riots in Miami tonight at Dirty South’s “Phazing Nights” at Wall, the sky is the limit for this sub-20 year old. This is one of those collaborations that immediately grabs your attention and it does not disappoint. When you are listening to a Fedde Le Grand song you know you are getting a track with some of best production in the industry and with rising stars Deniz Koyu & Johan Wedel adding their influences to the track, it is going to be big. This song is meant to be played live with quick moving percussive elements, emotive progressive synths and a massive drop that will send any crowd into a frenzy. The video shows them collaborating on the track, the first play of the track and the crowd reaction, and for you Djs you see Fedde Le Grand’s amazing looking studio. Also after the jump are Sander van Doorn and Mark Knight’s sets from Sensation Belgium, which for those who went was an unreal experience and with it coming to America in October, this iconic event will only grow its legendary status. The sets from Afrojack & Dada Life were not recorded.

Never forget Acid House. A quote that is said time and time again about this genre that always seems to come up in studio productions from artists you would never expect and is always a weapon in a live set. With his multiple collaborations with David Guetta being set for release soon and his ID with Avicii making waves around the web without even having a name, the young Dutchman is ready to increase his already impressive studio output to epic proportions. Generation 303 is an acid fueled track with an impressive bass line with a ton of energy that is meant to be played in the live venue. Expect to hear this quite a bit out from other Djs. Get it on BEATPORT.
