Albums | Aaliyah – One In A Million (Vasta Remix)

Posted by on October 24, 2015

I was super psyched to find this One In a Million remix by the shadowy producer Vasta. The mix opens up with a soft beat and a bouncy synth that give Aaliyah’s vocals a whole new feel, and then kicks into a smooth, thumpy house groove. This track has some 24 hour playing power and has been bumping from my speakers since I stumbled over the tune. Get the free download and get addicted.

Felix Jaehn has gone from a relatively unknown producer to a bonafide, international superstar within the last year. His remix of OMI’s “Cheerleader” dominated the charts around the globe, charting in the top spot on iTunes in over 55 countries, securing Jaehn’s spot as an internationally recognized producer with a forward-thinking take on tropical house. Earlier this summer, Jaehn explored the deeper regions of house with his single, “Book of Love,” and now, it’s got an official music video that follows Jaehn as he makes his way through a creepy neon carnival. Check out the music video above!

Jenaux is back, and the switch up in styles continues. Though we’ve gotten used to Jenaux’s progressive house bangers, his last two tracks have almost been “future-pop”. This time however, Jenaux hits us with something he likes to call “Big Room Funk”, saying its a “teaser for what’s to come”. Jenaux, if you’re reading this – I’m 100% alright with this new direction in sound, its absolutely fantastic. The rest of you, don’t take my word for it – check out the track and grab the free download now!

Here at FNT, we’ve been supporters of 5 & A Dime for quite some time now, and we’ve seen his growth from a successful mashup career to full-fledged original producer. This Philadelphia-based up-and-comer has been taking the dance world by storm, which can be seen by the support he’s getting on major festival stages, like Coachella, from artists such as The Chainsmokers, TJR, DJ Snake and more. 5 & A Dime just unveiled his latest masterpiece, “Rush,” and it’s appropriately titled as it’s a relentless, electro stomper that also brings future and house sounds in the mix, which are a sign of his musical evolution. It’s already been a fruitful year for the young talent, but he’s bound for greatness throughout the rest of this year and beyond.

Progressive House | Who Is Cignature?

If you’re on Soundcloud as often as I am, you’ve definitely heard of Cignature. After Audien tweeted then recently deleted “everyone should have their own Cignature” the internet has been abuzz with the rumors of Audien being Cignature – but they’ve been saying that for a while! So who is he? She? I have a few theories of my own but I’ll let you listen to Cignature’s newest remix – a beautifully melodic progressive house take on Ryn Weaver’s “OctaHate” – and decide for yourself.
