Were you at Coachella this year? I wasn’t able to make it (you know, minor details like living on the east coast and all), but Kaskade just uploaded his full set from the festival and it’s making me feel like I was there. The best thing about this set is that he primarily played original material, so it’s packed with many of his uplifting and high-energy mashes. Well worth the listen and the download. Krewella is turning up the heat this spring with their latest release: a high-energy, reggae-tinged remix of Knife Party’s Fire Hive. Riddled with air horns and Rasta exclamations, Krewella continues to do what the group does best by combining their signature sultry vocals with vicious dubstep drops. Despite the sensuality of the track, their Fuck On Me remix provides an aggressive twist to the English duo’s dubstep anthem.

Party anthem raps are like, kind of catchy and hot right now. OnCue burst onto the scene in 2011 and he’s continuing right into 2012 with this high energy spit. The beat is, listenable nothing to write home about, but if you listen to the lyrics the kid is pretty f-ing witty. YOLO themed raps aren’t going anywhere apparently.

Jeremy Olander delivers with this free two track EP that is exactly what you expect from Eric Prydz’ label, Pryda and Friends. These two songs are perfect for your rough Saturday morning with well developed builds and an excellent bass line, as well as subtle synth leads that crescendo into a combination of powerful synths and high energy bass.
