After receiving a cosign from the one and only Ellie Goulding the other week for his remix of DJ Shwann & ComletJ’s “Bushido” (can be streamed below as well), the young Miami producer Nexus is back with a brand new original track entitled “We Got It” featuring none other than Hi-Rez and Kyle. The track demonstrates a new side for the talented producer fusing together hip hop and melodic dubstep to create an amazing summer jam. Stream “We Got It” and his remix of “Bushido” and download them both for free below.

Hip-Hop | Hi-Rez — Never Enough (feat. Kinetics) [Music Video]

Posted by on March 28, 2013

I’ve been aware of Hi-Rez’s growing stardom for awhile now, but it wasn’t until I really delved into his work that I realized how deserving he is. Rez is a talented rapper in his own right, who cares about the kind of hip-hop he represents, and thus works diligently on his lyricism. Joining him on this gripping, melodic Cherne beat is Kinetics, an absolute lyrical warrior, who is becoming one of the blog-world’s most consistent songwriters and emcees. Neither disappoints here, and Kinetics’ enthralling hook is what gives it its true lasting appeal. Be sure to stay updated on these two as their popularity continues to grow — we can only imagine that they are destined for long careers given their talent.

Let me start off by saying I’ve been waiting to see the video for this song for some time. This was originally featured on Hi-Rez’s latest project “Lost Time” and was the standout track in my opinion. It features one of my favorite and most talented upcoming artists in my opinion, Kinetics. This song has a very deep, somber feeling as does most of the project it was featured on. As for the video, it was shot by Ben Foley over at Swaggernaut Productions and fits the song well, from the story line to the black and white scenes. Check out the video and grab Rez’s “Lost Time” here.

Fort. Lauderdale, Florida rapper Hi-Rez finally drops his anticipated mixtape, The Window. After dropping numerous songs off the project such as “X-Problems”, “On The Clock” and “A Meaning” I was impressed with Hi-Rez’s production behind beats and delivery with verses. After taking time and listening to the entire mixtape a few times over I’ve got to say this, Hi-Rez and his music have grown a lot over this past year. From the songs themselves down to the videos that accompany them. The #RezNation that follows has continued to steadily grow along with him as well. Now pushing over 12,600 Twitter followers and 26,000 likes on Facebook.
