MAKJ & Henry Fong both had very successful releases on Hysteria Records this summer, “Springen” and “Jump” respectively, so it makes sense for both of them to return to the label that has been so instrumental to the growth of their careers. 2013 has been outstanding for the two of them and it is fitting that they team up on a track. Blaring horns carry over a churning bass line and gritty electro beats, with a vocal that won’t let you keep your hands at your sides. Henry Fong has his remix of “Without You” coming on the 10th and MAKJ has his remix for Nervo’s “Not Taking This No More” coming on Friday, so December is only getting started for them.

Zedd’s followup to “Clarity”, “Stay The Night” has made its ascent onto the radio airwaves and up the charts with its blend of a complex, musicality and accessibility in poppy dance music. Just as was the case with “Clarity”, “Stay The Night” has earned a huge set of remixes from some of the biggest and brightest names in dance music. Henry Fong adds his own gritty electro flavor to the track in what has been the remix favored by Zedd himself. Nicky Romero plays along with the melody, while DJ Snake opts for a more electro route, rather than 808s he has become known for, and Tiesto switches out the melody for a big room take. Hot steppin into a big release today are Henry Fong, Mike Hawkins and Toby Green. “Hot Steppa” combines a brass-filled intro with reggae and gritty electro and a slowed down 2-step break to create this very diverse track that is constantly evolving. It has been a set opener for Knife Party for quite some time and has seen support from Hardwell, Nicky Romero, Sander van Doorn and others. Coming up for Mr Fong, he has an official remix for Zedd’s “Stay The Night”, which will be released next Monday.
