Brig has been featured on FNT many times, but no release matches the depth that Brig puts out on this one. The Russian bass artist added some of the most emotional elements to his music ever – and it translated brilliantly.

When that guitar parts hit, you get stuck in this happy trance where you’re loving what you are hearing but have no idea what’s coming next. Each passing beat bring about some large or small, but smooth change.

Brig is on fire going into 2015, check out more about him here.

There’s something to be said about growing up the ‘90s, an era where punk and pop reigned supreme, while bands like Nirvana, Blink 182, and Sum 41 providing the soundtracks to our childhoods. Fast forward over twenty years, and punk-pop has been pushed from the spotlight by electronic dance music, but Kasum is managing to blend the two to great success. He’s already taken on nearly every punk classic from the 90s, including Third Eye Blind’s “Semi-Charmed Life” and Green Day’s “Boulevard of Broken Dreams,” and today, we’ve got a re-imagination of Avril Lavigine’s “Complicated” featuring vocals from Megan Hamilton and Kasum himself. Kasum infuses “Complicated” with a melodic dubstep makeover, as he combines thrilling guitar riffs with Hamilton’s vocals to send waves of nostalgia coursing through your body.

It’s rare to find a producer who can float between genres as effortlessly as Jerry Folk, as his signature nu-disco style often blends with other influences like house and indie. Old-school, 70’s-inspired synths wash over the production in “Futura,” while a plucking bass guitar and driving piano melody gives the track a deep groove fitting for a 4 am warehouse rave.
