House | Croatia Squad – Milking (Original Mix)
Posted by BIGLIFE on December 6, 2014

Zurich’s very own, Croatia Squad, are back it again. This time in the form of their latest three track “Work It” EP that includes “Milking”. Sampling Kelis’s classic “Milkshake” record, Croatia Squad have flipped the original into a groovy bass heavy tune of epic proportions. Every song on the EP is great, however, this is my favorite from the bunch. Grab “Work It” available on Beatport now. Incredible vibes. Tune!

The name says it all – Billy Kenny & Aaron Jackson compile a groovy bassline, mix in some chilling chimes, and highlight the sexy vocals by Amy Lee to create ‘The Shiver Song.’ As cool as this vibe is, this track is fuego, a guaranteed club stopper. Released on HKRecs, you can look to adding another 2-step favorite to your deep house collection. Put on some headphones, grab some speakers, grab the strobe light – you’re sure to keep this on repeat.
House | Cleavage – Prove (Official Music Video)
Posted by BIGLIFE on November 17, 2014
Cleavage’s “Prove” on Spinnin’ Records is a tune. Little known secret is that it’s been out for a good while. By good while I mean a year or two. That doesn’t matter, because the video dropped last week and it’s already amassed 400,000 plays, and deservedly so. I don’t understand the video one bit (probably because I’m an American simpleton) but this groovy disco-inspired single deserves all the spins.

House | Matt Zanardo – Keep It Funky (Original Mix)
Posted by JT on October 31, 2014

House DJ’s, take out your notepads, because it’s time for a lesson in “Crowd-Control”. I haven’t been this impressed with mashup’s and bootlegs since I came across Kap Slap and 3LAU when they were on their rise. I’ve had the opportunity to witness Matt Zanardo live in action and I have to say, his productions are a testament to the types of parties he maintains on a consistent basis. Hailing from the jungles of Toronto, Canada, he’s recently blessed the HYSTERIA! and Dim Mak labels with some heavy releases and “Keep It Funky” is nothing less. Sampling “Hey Leroy” by Jimmy Castor, Zanardo adds a fat bass guitar, a groovy beat, and a touch of party masala that’ll blow any crowd out of the water. Cop this download and add it to your toolkit, quick!
House | vicii & Sebastian Drums – My Feelings For You (Spaveech Remix)
Posted by BIGLIFE on October 7, 2014

Before Avicii wore Polo and took “breaks” from his exhaustive tour schedule and spun it as he was spending more time in the studio to make new music for his fans, he was dropping underground hits like “My Feelings For You” with Sebastian Drums. New Jersey’s Spaveech (who looks like he could put Ric Flair in a headlock) puts an unlikely groovy twist on the original that’s impressive to say the last. Pick up this track for the price of a “like” on Spaveech’s fan page. You won’t be disappointed. Woooooo!
Deep House, Progressive House | Jumpstar ft. Ron Carroll – We Did Alright (Remixes)

Not only does Cr2 Records do a good job at snagging up and coming talent, but they also support their tunes with excellent remix packages. One these remix packs, for Jumpstar’s tune “We Did Alright” utilizes an iconic male voice in dance music, Ron Carroll.
Henrix & Sevag has become quite the potent duo, with their single “Latina” coming out not too long ago on Cr2 Records and now this remix in the same groovy style we heard in “Latina”. The Golden Boy gives the tune a nice deep house flip that jives just right with the overall ambiance of the song.
