Sheldon Scott is perhaps the most slept on artist in the blogosphere. He doesn’t have a Twitter or a Facebook page. You think I’m kidding? Google him for yourself. Despite the fact that he doesn’t exist online and he’s a complete enigma, he has a knack for making hits. Sheldon recently sent these two cuts over exclusively that were submitted to Timbaland for his upcoming “Shock Value III” project. If you’re an artist in the pop/electronic genre that’s looking to improve on your songwriting ability, I’d study Sheldon Scott closely. Sorry, I don’t have the cliff notes version. Somebody needs to sign this guy already.

Electro-House | Rather Red

Rather Red aka Tommy Raymond, is a 23-year-old musician based out of Los Angeles. Originally from Honolulu, Tommy attributes his ever-morphing style to his environment. “Both Hawaii and L.A. are very dynamic places with diverse populations. That open-minded way of life has shaped my musical interests to the point that I don’t dwell on genre, or even medium.” This open-minded approach to his art has allowed this upcoming producer to create some really unique and interesting content.

Is every genre being electrofied these days? If so I won’t be complaining. This Mr. Vegas and Wynter Gordon collaboration pulls the best from both worlds; one serving of reggae/soca vocals, one serving of electro, and a sprinkle of that Wynter Gordon goodness. If you’re looking for a hot summer song that’s switches things up a bit, tune in below.

This is a straight up banger that our dubstep fans are going to devour. The preview video for this project set the bar pretty high, but I think its safe to say 5 & A Dime lived up to the hype, pushing the mashup genre once again by seamlessly blending some of our favorite songs together. Dubstep is becoming a huge genre. I do post a lot of it, but oddly enough it’s not my favorite genre. More of a house and trance guy but these electro and dubstep blend track are insane. Ftampa has always dropped some sick blends, this one might be his best yet. RUN DMT was finally given a chance at the big times just in time to be a part of the Mortal Kombat soundtrack this year. Teamed up with Bird Peterson, they dropped a remix to be remembered.

Dubstep | Nero’s Dubstep Symphony and More | Dubstep

Only Nero would come up with the idea to do a dubstep symphony, considering they come up with just about everything else dubstep related. Classical is the one genre of music I could never get into even after playing the piano for 12 years, but this is amazing. I wish I was that awesome.
Down to the goods now. This first track I know everyone is going to complain about how it just stops short, it’s because its not out yet. Despite being cut short I think you listeners can stand 3 minutes of epicness. With that said this track is insane, the second drop being entirely different from the first.

Back In Black is my second favorite AC/DC song next, second to Highway To Hell. If you don’t like AC/DC that’s ok because this is a sick track.
