I don’t know where to even begin with Noisia’s latest massive album release. This is easily one of the biggest releases of the year by far with remixes from many of the big names across EDM. I had to take a few days to listen to each track multiple times to actually realize the quality of each and every remix. Starting from Kito’s highly anticipated Split The Atom remix which is amazing in so many aspects. To Kill The Noise’s vicious DnB remix of Diplodocus which even caught Deadmau5 off guard. This track got 80,000+ plays in 12 hours; that is extraordinary. One remix that I think isn’t receiving the respect is should is, Munchi’s Tommy’s Theme remix. Munchi takes this well orchestrated track from Noisia, and almost creates a new genre of music through this one remix. In a recent interview I saw Munchi talking about how he has been tampering with a new genre entitled Skull-step, but wasn’t ready to actually make a track in the genre yet. Well I would have to say if there was any track on this album that came close to sounding evil or skull like, it would have to be this one. How can anyone forget 16 bit’s remix that has been on everyones waiting list for over a year now. I don’t want to go through all the remixes and talk about how amazing and unique they are because that would take me all day. I recommend everyone listen through each track, because I am almost certain there is something in there to appeal to everyone.

House | Radiohead – Codex (Hannes Fischer Edit)

I’ve always felt like ambient house was a good genre to kick back and listen to while my mind is occupied elsewhere. Hannes Fischer’s edit of Codex can be that track if you want, but personally I find myself enjoying this song with my full attention. The bass is deep and melodic, and progresses seamlessly with a hint of piano and sax playing in the background. Like with most originals, vocals come in pretty early, but Fischer makes you wait for it, and rightfully so. As soon as Thom Yorke’s unmistakable voice kicks in, you get the feeling like this is what you’ve been waiting for the whole time, without feeling like it was missing anything before.

I know R Rated is going up later today (which is epic by the way), but this remix could not wait. This just so happens to be one of the first remixes that Cemoa has done, and it is absolutely breath taking. I think that even if you usually don’t find yourself dipping your ears in dubstep, this track is for anyone willing to give it a chance. Getting such a good response from his fans, Kid Womp decided he could wait no more. Also Skrillex winning 3 grammies has got everyone riled up and motivated. This EP is well rounded because Kid Womp expands to as many genre’s as capable on this EP and shows no bound. Exclusively on FNT we have Kid Womps second EP, and you don’t want to miss this one.

Electro | Helium The Beginning Free Album

I have been following Helium on soundcloud for quite some time now, and electro break tracks are their strongpoint. The tracks in this genre are something different than the ordinary dubstep or electro tracks you are used to. Imagine electro sped up with a little drum and bass added in with a little bit of dubstep every now and then and that would be the style of music Helium makes. Whose excited for Moombah Monday? This week we have some dope remixes as well as Munchi’s new killer track. Hopefully we will start seeing some more Moombahton releases soon, because things have started to slow down in the genre.
“Fuck This” is Munchi’s latest release and it is a banger. I was caught of guard by the lyrics and the abrupt drop the first time I listened to it. It sounded like a boring track at first, until I heard the drop.

I will admit the intro to this track isn’t the best intro I have heard, and it takes forever. But it is worth the wait, because once it passes the intro this track reaches a whole other level of Moombah.

This is what I like to call a “synth blasting laser track”, because once it drops I feel like I’m in the middle of synth laser battle. Listen to it and tell me you don’t feel the same.

This is one of the better Moombahton remixes to this track I have heard, and I have heard almost all of them. I would love to hear this track live because I could see crowds going crazy.
