Dubstep | Gemini – Fire Inside (Said The Sky Remix)
Posted by BP on June 24, 2014
Today seems like a dubstep sort of Tuesday doesn’t it? Also, today marks Said the Sky’s FNT debut with his remix of “Fire Inside” by Gemini. I love the original track, so I was hoping this remix wouldn’t destroy it. Said The Sky absolutely blew me away with this melodic flip of Gemini’s emotional original. It’s clear that this level of composition took some serious thought and precision. Said The Sky, aka Trever Christensen, from Denver, describes his sound as “dubstep infused with soaring melodies and heart wrenching harmonies. A sound from the clouds.” Couldn’t agree more. Grab it for free below!

Yes, there are a lot of “Gas Pedal” remixes. No, you have not heard one like this before.
If you’ve been fiending for hard 808 drums and deep, voluptuous bass mixed with some quasi-classic rap vocals, then you’ve no doubt found your match. Arnold really turned it up a notch on this one, and it is worth your time in every single way. Go and grab that free download and then show this guy some love by giving him a like or a follow.

Sage the Gemini has been attracting a lot of attention in the hip-hop world recently with the drops of his most notable singles Gas Pedal & Red Nose. He’s got the voice for the mic and the right production of music to make his stuff catchy. Currently loving on this beat he slapped up yesterday from his Gas Pedal EP available on iTunes as of September 10th, 2013.
Drum & Bass, Dubstep | KOAN Sound, Culprate, Reso, & Asa – Cascade

It’s that great time of year for Inspected again, Movemeber. I’m sure many remember last years gem, “Beyond The Shadows”, which was a collaboration between KOAN Sound, Gemini, Culprate, and Asa. Sadly Gemini didn’t make it on this years Movember track, but the up and coming Neuro-hop producer Reso managed to make a wonderful replacement. In my opinion this is the best line up of artists you could ever see in bass music. This year KOAN Sound and Asa just dropped their breath taking “Sanctuary” EP, Culprate dropped his highly anticipated “The Great Expedition” EP, and Reso is currently cooking up some of the dirtiest bass tracks that he will hopefully be releasing soon. The word ‘cascade’ is defined as, “something arranged or occurring in a series or in a succession of stages so that each stage derives from or acts upon the product of the preceding”. I could not think of a better way to explain the incredible progression this. If you thought last years track was great, “Cascade” will blow you away.

Dubstep | R Rated #64

Decided to save this weeks R Rated, and for good reason. Sick, nasty tunes have been dropping like flies. For Sev and I to keep up has been an adventure, but I hope everyone enjoys the fruits of our labor. To kick off R this week is actually a Trap tune, one of the heaviest Trap tracks that Sev & I have ever heard. Kai Wachi & Squnto must have been craving some twerkable filth because this track is insane! I am still on the fence about Trap, but if you are going to have it, this track is a must have.

Au5 & I.Y.F.F.E (In Your Face F*ck Everything) have been bass predators as of late. The two have been feature on some the most insane Dubstep tracks. This remix they jumped on in with Auratic and Lafunkt is a behemoth, I can slowly sense myself going deaf every time I press play.
Don’t let these first tracks fool you, this is one of our biggest R Rated posts to date.
Electro-House, Exclusive, Featured | KillSonik – Slaughterhouse (Gemini Remix)
Posted by Mach on January 30, 2013
When people hear or see Gemini’s name they geek out, including myself. After hearing about KillSonik’s remix of Gemini’s “Robots,” I wondered if Gemini also remixed something of KillSonik’s. Well, MTA Records has been kind enough to let us premiere that remix. “Slaughterhouse” was already an incredible orignal from KillSonik, and usually I hate having to listen to a remix of something that is great on its own. This may be in fact the greatest Electro-House track Gemini has ever created. I have never heard Gemini drop in lasers and guitar rifts the way he has on this insane remix. If there is anything to pull from this, it’s that it is time to rage.

Slightly disappointed that Killsonik’s EP “Where The River Runs Black” got pushed back to a January release, but at least they are still satisfying our need for new sick tunes. Though simple, the drop on this track is catchy and hot as hell. Their remix is a heavy dance track, one of the best kinds in my opinion. It barely resembles the original anymore, which in this case is the best hing we could have expected from Killsonik. The remix is apparently not releasing with Gemini’s new EP “Mercury,” but I’m sure we will find out soon enough about its release.
